Word of advice for future people - anytime you are purging air out of any pressure washer - I’d suggest not doing it with any of the tips on the gun. Not only does is restrict the water flow but now anything that could have gotten in the hose after you had it stored away would clog the tiny orifice of the nozzle, and they aren’t always easy to clean out. Bugs, small debris, any sediment or dried undissolved minerals left behind by the water from pervious use. Its just a very simple way to avoid a possible headache.

Have now used this to clean house siding and it performed well kzfaq.infoUgkx43QMbQqu67IZadu9ou8Sg1BdrunMRNqX I also bought some wand extensions which enabled higher washing without needing a ladder. I recommend both. This unit arrived quickly, was easy to assemble (only had to attach the handle), and arrived in perfect condition. The only very slight downgrade from a perfect score is the design has a low handle and requires pulling from the side. My old washer was an upright model, while this one is more horizontal. Other than that, it's perfect for my needs. It has a great deal of pressure and more easily cleaned the house siding, porch rails and concrete than did my older model. The engine is a bit louder, as well, but the total time to clean was reduced by the more powerful spray. Did I mention it starts on the first or second pull every time?!! I am definitely happy with this model.

Im seeing a lot of dewalt pressure washer where the water hose attachment point is accessible. I have a dewalt 4400psi, 4gpm machine and the connection for the water hose is right behind the handle almost touching it, making it very difficult to get the hose off and on

Yours has a red shipping cap on pump mine has a yellow one and it isn’t a screw off. Idk if it’s the shipping cap or if mine has a breather cap. I can’t find a replacement anywhere either

water hose connection on the pressure washer is in the worst spot possible but what really pisses me off is the annoying hose that keeps winding itself. If you get tired when you use this pressure washer it will be from fighting the damn hose. no matter how many times i twisted the hose straight it would wind up rolling itself and it is a massive struggle. good machine though.

Did you add any oil to the AAA pump too in the breather cap hole? or just to the motor oil inlet where you pulled the dip stick out?

Needed one to paint prep my house and needed to replace my dewalt, I almost went this route, however it seems like the AAA/Simpson pumps dewalt uses are trash and very prone to leaking both oil and water, so I ended up getting the harbor freight predator 4400psi offering, because it had and AR pump which is a great pump. I did end up testing it with a pressure gauge and it turns out that it's only outputting 3000psi with the stock 4.0 nozzle. Was wondering what size orifice nozzles dewalt included and what the real world pressure output that it's making with them.

Update! This unit was only able to withstand 3 months of my pressure washing season. The unit had constant backfires, the chemical injection port was squirting water out instead of sucking in chemicals. Very disappointed 😞 but thankfully I have 3 year extended warranty on it. I just got a new one from my old warranty and I put another warranty on that! I'll pay the $175 3 year warranty each time for a new one.

Is there a bottle to add soap that you can purchase if so do you know were to get it from?

Just got same unit. Same problem with the downstream nozzle too close to frame. When moving unit the frame hits the nozzle putting pressure on the pump. Have you had any problems with it??

Does your front grip on the spray gun rotate?

I could not start mine while the water was on. It worked either when the water was off or I pressed the gun consistently while pulling the trigger. It was extremely difficult to pull the trigger when the water was on. Any idea?

i just got one of these at an auction. There is alot of vibration in the handle, and in the stream. You can see it in the surface you are cleaning also. What do you think? Does anybody elses do this? Is it starving for water?

Didn't you try loosening the engine mounting bolts to see if you could swing the engine pump unit to provide more clearance for those connections???

from what I've seen and learned, the only good Dewalt/Simpson pressure washers are the ones with the Honda engine, cat pump and even the frame is better built. this one you have has commercial specs but is not built for commercial use. I've heard alot of bad news about those simpson brand AAA pumps, so that's why I'm trying to get a Dewalt or Simpson with the honda engine and cat pump, but for some reason they are out of stock everywhere. (guess it goes to show how popular they are)
