I really appreciate people like you, who put out short, informative videos on topics like this. I wanted to know what the differences were before I bought them and now I can make an informed purchase. Thanks!

Thanks for taking the time to make this. I don't care about the fold or torque feature, but I want the ring light. Wouldn't have known about that without your vid. Thanks again.

These are great, many screw guns don’t have the soft start and it I’d hard to start a small screw when it starts so fast. This gives you total control. I just ordered one, I do a lot of repairs etc and this should be perfect, it Also has the best batteries also.

Man, I have had the folding one for probably 4-5 years and just always thought it didn't work. Never occurred to me to turn my wrist. Unbelievable!!! Thanks for the video!

Nope, true story. Only had one electric screw driver before and it didn't have a gyroscope in it.

I have one, but the palava to get one in UK is brain numbing... Dewalt US seems to have the toys and Dewalt UK seem to be the back-markers. Besides that, even though your great video is 4 years old, these little units, if you can find one, are twice the price you stated... in GBP numbers! UK/US trade is a joke. But, nice toy. Nice video.

Thanks for the review. That was really helpful, but you didn't say about the torque!! The right one is the torque power fixed on it?? Or how it works? Because the left one you can change it but the right one doesn't have a clutch!!

will that bit holder fit onto the dcf682n1 also?

Does the DCF680 and DCF682 have the same amount of torque? I can't find a comparison online. Thank you in advance.

The adjustable handle says 60inch/lbs and other says 23inch/lbs. Though the adjustable handle says 1.3ah battery and the other says 4ah battery.

Quite possibly the only electric screw gun with variable speed and soft start and stop.

Hi I have drill into hard surfaces to install a barrel bolt on awood door and the clamp housing it slides into to lock the door, on/into a hard metal door frame. Is this a power tool that you think this will do the job of drilling with a hard drill bit into the wood and the metal? If not what is a good recommendation for a under 50-100. drill tool. Thanks / great review / new sub > nyc

You might be able to get it done if you go slow and might have to recharge the battery. This tool was made mostly for small tasks around the house. Drywall screws and the like. Maybe an occasional hole in some thin wood. If you use some self tapping screws, you might be able to get it in the metal with ease.

The foldable one appears to be a bit smaller? Need room in tool bag. Bought one but battery is not staying in properly so unless I put the heel of hand to hold it tight it won't work.
@philmcclenaghan70563 жыл бұрын
No, didn't you watch? The one on the left is larger. That one is foldable
@Angelo0chek2 жыл бұрын
Did you compare, are they comparable in terms of torque?
@allritythen2 жыл бұрын
Yes. They will both drive a three inch wood screw no problem. Only difference is folding or not.
@davidwiniger37994 жыл бұрын
Which has more torque?
@allritythen4 жыл бұрын
I believe they are both the same. Only difference between the two is that one can switch to pistol grip.

I love the screw driver. But I still don't see the point why push a trigger and also you have to twist hand. Double work. I wish they had just a trigger version.
@Reflekt3D5 жыл бұрын
if they only had a trigger (no hand twisting) then you would also need a forward/reverse switch, as found on many other guns.
@raymonddompfrank17895 жыл бұрын
When you pull the trigger, you fix the zero position from where you rotate. You have to give the starting orientation to the tool somehow.
@CF_Joel4 жыл бұрын
I thought the same thing but Oh, it's great. So convenient.
@ROYteous3 жыл бұрын
The way you use the 'trigger' is you basically just hold the tool, which you have to do anyways, with or without a trigger. This just allows for immediate changing between forward and reverse, without messing with an extra switch.

Great concept, but horrible manufacturing. I'm on my 4th one in 26 months. I'd happily pay 2x the price if they were made better. But that's been the sad case with Dewalt as a whole since 2018.

Which is better?
@allritythen4 жыл бұрын
all depends on what you are going to use it for. I would get the DCF 680. Light is better and you can fold it.

peacelesssam it’s molded to fit in your hand with it on top. If I got two left shoes I can just put one of them on my right foot, but it’s more comfortable to use them like they’re designed...
