Dewalt already released another new 1/2in drive impact even more power than this 900. The dcf921 , I pick mine up Friday. The 900 is killer. I've beat it to death and it never missed a beat. Can't wait for the 961

The dcf921 is an Atomic version not a full size high torque. It is very powerful, especially for it's small size. I'm still using my 899 but the 921 is very close to it. The dcf961 is on another level for sure. It's definitely pushing the limits on a 1/2" drive anvil, and should be a 3/4 with that torque. It just beats the f'k out of a 1/2” sockets socket! Needs the extra material of a bigger anvil for sure. But I do love them all, DeWalt ftw!. DeWalt seems to be a lil slow but definitely makes up for it with their machines! Between @TorqueTestChannel & @deandohertygreaser (amazing repair tech in Ireland), & a few others videos\analysation, I'm happy I went with the yellow team years(decades) ago! Don't get me wrong, Milwaukee definitely has some nice tools, especially some of the more specialized tools they make. 🤔🤷🏻‍♂️🛠️🔧🔩👍🏻👌🏻🔌🔋⚡⚠️🦺🚧

That extension on it is there because it’s meant for big trucks like these, if you go to the rear wheels the lug nuts are much more recessed than say a normal car. But I believe Milwaukee does sell this tool that doesn’t have the extension.

"rating" numbers are trash. that 2868 1" wrench only puts out 1200 foot pounds forward, 1400 reverse. the dewalt's actual numbers are 800/1000. makita's 3/4" gwt01 does 1000 in both directions, it's 3 times smaller and lighter than the milwaukee. unless you're working on railroads or something, the milwaukee seems pointless these days. if for some unlikely reason you do need insane power, there is a 1" ingersoll-rand at about the same at the milwaukee that completely shits on it. the ingersoll is "rated" for 3000 foot pounds, which is obviously nonsense. but it can actually do 1800.
