I had my older Dewalt 2=1/2" cut cap bandsaw stolen and the office replaced mine with this Atomic bandsaw. At first I was a bit upset about not getting a like for like tool replacement and being accustomed to the feel of my old one I was not very thrilled about the my new Atomic model. It quickly grew on me and realized that for what I need it to do it's more than enough and much lighter and agile. Great tool in that line for Dewalt. You really have to know what model tool you need depending on day to day tasks & demands

Atomic is cool but I'm more excited about the 12v that is coming. Speaking of the 12v when is that dcf901 review coming.

On an end cut sure, but not in the middle of a bar. So unless you’re just shaving off an inch it’s a moot point.

@@jaaqess2525 I was about to comment this lol. There is something else to consider though, if you've just got stock that is loose that you can just rotate or you're otherwise able to manipulate the tool around, you can always cut from the opposite side.

How do you adjust the blade tracking? I just got this saw and it’s vibrating like crazy cutting emt. I tried putting on a new blade and it’s still doing the same thing. Pretty disappointed.

A coworker of mine has the m12 and it works awesome. I just bought the dewalt atomic and it seems to have more power, but m12 is considerably lighter. Both cut amazing though.

What is the blade size for this saw? Home depot site says 32 7/8" which is the same as the bigger capcity older brushed compact model thats 2.5 inch capacity. Doesn't seem to make sense unless the saw is the same size with a smaller cutting throat which would be weird cuz it should be smaller saw

Too bad its mouth is only 1 3/4"! Dewalt needs to redesign this to a 2.5" I have the big daddy already but wud love to have a 2.5 new design single hand one
