Yeah! Perfect fit my 894 drives 4 inch screws into 4x4 90-100% of the way before even impacting. Most of the time it just needs a couple hits to full seat the head.

These are pretty awesome. Set your impact wrenches down to speed 1 or the lowest setting and you will be good for years. I’m debating about dumping my impact driver and just using this instead. I rarely use a driver so it makes sense for me.

I use one from Irwin on my makita dtw281, at speed 1 (weakest), and no problem at all. The point of using this adaptor at full power is not breaking the adapter but at full power/speed I have no control over the little philips screws. So using in speed one is not only good for the adapter but for the work you are doing. 2600 rpm and 280nm of torque on a philips head is very easy to mess everething the screw the wood the adapter :). Very good video

I have owned that adapter for a few years and it's still working fine. I have both the Ryobi 1500 in lb driver and 200 ft lb 1/2" and the use of the adapter for me is when I am installing several long torx head lag bolts such as when connecting beams or securing trusses.

I've had this adapter for nearly a year now, It works really well at taking off rusty brake rotor screws, and as you know the reverse torque is higher than forward torque, so i'm not sure why people would not think it's not a durable tool, I used it to drive 4 inch screws into our deck to secure a ladder for our pool, also no problem. I will say it's probably not a good idea to use on drywall though.

Saw this at Lowes for dirt cheap. Picked one up and rewatched this video. Thanks for the warning about how much torque it can handle. I'm using it with my Ryobi cordless 1/2" impact later. On setting three, it would break the adapter. I'm going to be using this adapter with a Forstner style bit, and my impact driver for driving screws. It's nice not having to switch bits all the time. It's also nice not having my screw driver bits shoot out across the room and get lost.

So I have a question that I can't find the answer to.. I'm a contractor and have the fuel one key impact driver I use daily. I also do some light duty mechanic work on my cars and trucks in the form of wheels and tires, suspension work, ect. I own the fuel 2763 impact and use it for lag bolts, structural bolts in steel, ect. I'm wanting to get a compact impact wrench for the small mechanic stuff (tires, smaller bolts ect) but not sure if I should get an adapter for my one key impact driver, or get the one key 1/2 impact wrench. What is your recommendation knowing I already have the 2763? Thanks so much

I use two bit sizes for my robertson screws, and my Spax bit which I think you were using in this video. I've always wish outlet and light switches used the robertson drive instead of slotted drives. I've cut myself countless times with a flat trying to uncomfortably get outlets wired together.
