Dewalt Hedge Trimmer Stopped Working

Күн бұрынFixing Dewalt hedge trimmer after they stopped running. Was in the middle of using them and all of a sudden stopped. It ended up being a wire which came loose inside of the case. I do recommend working on any of the wiring for these tools, however in my case it was out of warranty and would have just ended up in the trash if I had not pulled it apart to take a look.

My Dewalt just stopped a month ago and I was about to get another, but I found your video, opened up my shearer and immediately saw the disconnected black wire. Thanks!!,

I just fixed this myself. Ground wire came off of motor. Unbent terminals and soldered connectors back on. Greased assembly with a high quality grease. Works awesome now. Definitely spins faster than it has been in years.

Just want to say THANK YOU SO MUCH!! I have the same model, it died, I found this video, gathered the tools to take mine apart and I found the ground wire spade connector had became disconnected from the motor. It works now! Also: I didn't have a torx bit, a flat head was able to do the job. Hope this video helps others, thanks again!

Hey, Thanks for this, mine stopped working the other day. After watching your video I decided to take a look inside, I found the same issue, fixed it and it runs great! Thank you sir, saved me a bit of cash for a while longer!
