Thank you for the video! I was on the Home Depot website trying to debate on buying a new ratchet for just such tight angles but I finally saw this adapter tool and even though it looked good on the website there was no real video to support it usage at all. I really appreciate your video and the time you took the post it! I'm now headed to Home Depot to buy one of these tools!

@@hammerandhome I got there and right beside it was a pack that had that tool in it but then instead of $20 for $35 there was one that had an additional one that had a long flex on it so I'm sure that that would become handy at some point so I purchased that one. Hoping to get to use them both at work tomorrow!

The use for this in automotive is amazing. I've use this attachment to start the bolts for some pully screws. Was able to use my impact increased of driving the screw in with a ratchet 1 degree at a time.

I have to install mudflaps on cars quite often, the fronts are no problem because i can turn the wheels but the rears cant so this is perfect to get in between the frame and the tire to loosen and tighten the screws

It's good to have options, I have the 1/4,3/8 and 1/2 hex to socket adapters for my impact. Ive also ordered recently a 6" bit holder for my impact driver and i just got my ridgid 1/2 impact wrench and decided to get the 1/2 socket to 1/4 hex adapter. That way both my impact wrench and driver can overlap in some areas and when driving large lugs and some screws i can take my impact wrench and driving mostly screws and a few smaller lugs i can just take my impact driver.. While I was at it i ordered this dewalt right angle just to have, those specialty attachments/tools arent needed but I believe firmly in right tool for right job.. Off topic example but i spefically got a 1/2 compression water shutoff valve puller strictly for pulling the ferrule off pipes as they can be a bitch and also some seat wrenchings for changing shower or faucet valves.. Dont use em often but the times I do theyre a life/time saver.. Also a basin wrench is a must, these are plumbing tools but for a homeowner a must.

I am wondering what the torque rating on these would be, i have a wraught* iron fence connected to brick posts in my yard and neither my impact driver or wrench will fit. I can do it with a ratchet and socket or my box end ratchet wrench. I fear the tor

yeah i dont think this little attachment would work on those bolts. probably better off with a wrench.

I bought this tool and can't keep the tool from rotating when trying to remove stubborn deck screws I can't access directly. Female DIYer - used rubber gloves and still couldn't hold on. Ideas?

What is the clearance from the center of the chuck to the edge of the tool casing around the chuck? If you had to get in as close as 1/4 inch to a rigid object but you only have height clearance of 4inches to drill a 3/32 hole , would this accomplish the job? I think I need a flexible drive attachment with more head clearance from the side to center of chuck
