Just in case you dont know, you can hover over the icons of the different abilities at the end to see how much damage they dealt, while some show nothing cause the increase is indirect or they are augmenting the normal bullets it is an interesting statistics that I like to see at the end of a run.

Dex, the explosive blob effect is actually good. In later stages you get SWARMED with enemies, so the fact that those you kill actually explode means that you can kill those behind them way more easily and create a very effective chain. Don’t get duped into thinking “it only happens when someone die so it’s useless”, because it’s not.

just so you know there is a permanent buff thing that makes it so normal enimies/ minibosses will alwaysbe basic blobs, makes things way easier mid to late game

17:39 yes, the upgrade is that ANY damage can be critical. and also gaia boss can deal BIG damage to herself with her attacks if you stand near her and dodge those attacks ofc.

only blobs will spawn means there are no other enemy types besides the basic enemies from island one. exploders, helmet guys, shooters, big boys and runners won't spawn. you will still get elites (only the blob type) and bosses. it's basically easy mode for god runs

The build I go with this guy is wildfire, explosions, thick hide, damage with speed, aoe stacking + crits. It easily takes me to an hour long run where everything just chain dies once I get a single proc. It is tough with bosses but not unkillable

The fire trail brings to mind Kiara. Btw not sure if you heard, HoloCure 0.6 will be quite the shake up balance wise in addition to Mumei's rework

You should check the damage of each item picked at the end. Some stuff will surprise you with how much damage it actually did

Use splinter and thousand needles with dizzy wizzy character when upgreaded they can wipe out a wave in secounds plus the explosion when you kill the enemy

@Dex, the fire trail is good if you get yellow sapphire and also increase your move speed with brisk capsule, it can deal like 30 damage or more per tick instead of 1 with just a few upgrades, same with sonic howl

On death effects I have found to be really hard to get really far with since eventually all enemies become titans unless you have a very op main attack that can guarantee kill a few to then activate on kill effects more often which is almost impossible since the game doesn't give you consistent base stat upgrades

I wish the game would give you a damage breakdown of each of your skills so you could see which skill is doing the most damage. That way you can better plan for future builds. All games of this type need that in my opinion. It really sucks when they don't have it.

Gaia can kill itself if hitten by it's own tentacles, A nice AOE to kill bosses is GOO, because it can be upgraded with your other aoe , it's not counted as a projectile. experience boost is amazing once you upgraded it well, the two AOE boosts are incredibly important for endgame too. attack range is not that great if you go with fire/explosion and aoe in general because at some point, the explosions and fire will kill at the other end of the screen so your guns will be kinda obsolete cheers

Also, ALWAYS TAKE HALO. Its level 4 it’s literally THE strongest thing in the game, and had you had it in this build you would have burned through the later levels.

It requires you to be low hp, which isnt hard to do, but with the armoured big blobs they tear through your hp so fast it usually happens too fast for it to trigger.

My guess is that there's so many enemies and you shoot so quickly, he doesn't want to have to focus on all those shots as well as movement. I also never use that artifact. The auto-aim is pretty good in this game.

Because self control sucks lmao, you don't wanna need to control your shots when there is literally a couple thousand mobs on your screen, the only way this would be good is if you could get guaranteed 3 out of 4 infinite energy, but otherwise it's just another action needing your attention among the massive horde of blobs.

The problem of this game is, you kinda stuck at lv 40+. It's really hard to level up after that. The most level I get is like 60, and I have exp upgrade a lot that it give me +100%.

well it's not much of a problem, but it does mean if you don't get 2x tree hugger before lvl 35-40, you just don't get any additional upgrades.

T_T im say, they nerfed xp balls item, now its no longer worth getting ever :( 3 items not worth upgrading on the list now the trail can get beastly but it just doesnt last long enough to get enemies onto it :( but stuff like the mumsa flat damage increase + crits + damage multipliers + aoe radius and damage multipliers means it ends up coating the entire screen. That said still not worth it compared to the other characters, the base characters extra level up choice and more rare items is still be far the best >

I feel like you think this game is still Vampire Survivors. You often avoid picking up EXP for some reason, as if you're waiting for the bonus phase, instead of going after it as soon as possible, leaving you without level ups to your skills. I STILL don't understand your willingness, at least in this game, to walk into enemies when you don't need to, considering how low your HP is and the scarcity of healing. And your habit of just kinda being all over the place in your skill choices makes me laugh, since in one episode, you claimed the goal was to max out skills, yet even in that episode, you almost explicitly refused to max any skills out. xD I have fun watching you flail around though, so I guess it's alright?

Hmm to explain some of the points, though the answers may be disappointing To the Exp, the game drops multiple magnets a round and gives a guaranteed one after killing the boss, so I dont really see a rush to gather Exp, except for times where I REALLY want an upgrade ASAP, but the only one coming to my mind is the Tree Hugger level 2. Its not like there is a big delay and even when I had a huge amount of Exp on the ground, it was just 1 level up To the walking into enemies, there are some cases where it happens because I want to avoid another group, but in this particular video I just didnt care a lot because the explosion pretty much healed me up all the time. Which is kinda funny to say that healing is scar, at least in this video here, because I was constantly recovering a ton of HP, even when I went down to 2 HP it was healed soon after. Me being all over the place is honestly just how my mind is, the reason is doesn't look that much like it in VS is because I know the game very well and know what my plan is, but also because limit break solo weapons doesnt allow for much thinking. For maxing out skills, the issue is rather that I take some skills I really only take because there is nothing better and my goal is not to max them out, and getting half a level up instead is sometimes IMO not worth it, despite it being not that much of a great skill. Or I have the goal to get multiple skills, then I wont pick up a skill I already have just to have the other one locked in

Only blob will spawn is one of the best artifacts. Where in a run only the weakest type of blob will appear. No big boy or shooty blob. Only the regular one.
