I got the same in my German culture, so I ended up being a true rebel: The other kids made fun and called names, so I became the best at our language in the whole school.I was also really good in English: 12th grade we had vocabulary building and semantics. I would rapid-fire spell, and I studied twice as hard. No one could touch me in either language. At work I hung a bilingual sign in my cubicle: Englisch wird gelegentlich hier gesprochen - English is occasionally spoken here! They loved my German cookies when I took those in to work before Covid. Be who you are!! Enjoy what you love!

Then why is officially everything I buy in English and sometimes translated to Spanish? All the TV channels, primarily English with an option to change to Spanish if need be with those that aren't English to begin with being Spanish. It's obvious there are two, with English being the primary. After all, the European settlers who embarked upon our land spoke English and taught it to the natives (while of course, taking them out with the things they brought over). Only reason Spanish is involved is that we're neighbors to Mexico, and some even had moved to some of the bottom lands in the United States before they were taken as theirs. That, and also mass immigration; mostly illegal, although that's a steamed topic in it of itself to continue forward with.

I am a UK born, I'm very proud of my Indian roots, heritage and culture. I also respect other countries culture. I am a proud British Indian. Mexican festivals, culture etc are brilliant. I'm American. My best friend is Mexican, and I'm learning Spanish from him and I go there every weekend and learn new stuff, they bring me to there house every few days to hang out, his parents are so cool, and I love them to death. The enchiladas they make are so good 😂😂
