It’s good that he comes with a flight stand. There are some figures who should come with flight stands that don’t. The stands and flight stands work for Star Wars and marvel figures too.

I can't make my mind up whether to buy this or not. I do like it in a quirky kind of way. I still have my DC direct 1st appearance Superman, which is less posable, but more accurate in my opinion. If this was $20 I would have bought him already.

Oddly enough I think this is one of the few times I don't mind that barrel like torso on Superman. He was pretty barrel chested in the early day s so it kinda works here for me. I AM disappointment that for $30, there's no serious head and interchangeable hands. I mean...do we NEED three display stands and rubber chains? A serious alternate head and some extra hands would be WAY better. EDITED because it's like 5:30 AM and I said no smiling head but I meant serious head.

I would have liked a cloth cape instead, more hands and dump those stands for the cards. The guy on the lower left of the card is losing his shit. He doesn't know what the hell is going on.🤣

I would want the original cartoon Superman which has black in his logo. I may get this but don’t want the others from the wave.

I don't mind the reuse of the 'infected' body - Golden Age Superman was bulky, fitting the 'he-man' ideals of the time. My big annoyance is the boots - I'm happy they're blue to fit with the inside of Action Comics #1, but they *should* be lace up, or some kind of cross weave, like a wrestler's boots from the time. My other annoyance - and this is just laziness from McFarlane. They couldn't be bothered to paint the belt loops red. I'll do that myself, but I shouldn't have to. I don't regret buying this figure, but I kind of wish I'd held off a while, I think the price will come down.

Hey Dee I just wanted to let you know that I did find the platinum chase variant of abyss and Superman at my Books-A-Million I don't know if you have one near you but maybe check it out and see if they got it I will say that when I got my abyss it was the only one and they had just put it out that day so I don't know if you'll be able to find one but I just wanted you to know where to look 🤔🤗🤤

I do agree .....he is too big for this version of superman......nobody looked like this in the 30's and 40's......they should have used a slightly smaller figure and added some extra hands and the boots are wrong too.....maybe they will get it right on a rerelease......

I think it would have been awesome to charge maybe like 5 or 10 dollars more and give us a deluxe edition with a car accessory to recreate the comic cover but I’m still happy with the figure itself

I agree with you man for the extra money you should get the hands, the stands everything, but if it has to come down to one of the other I would rather get the hands in the stands. I can stand most of my McFarland's without the stand and I make my own flight stand so just give me accessories and I'm good.

The $30 price tag doesn’t make much sense on this one. It is a cool looking figure but all Superman figures should come with flying hands and fists.

with all due respect but this is very disappointing, he has been doing the same figure already in 8 different supermans, nothing new is a repaint... what the figure offers is not worth that price... disappointing...
