We’re about to reveal 8 AMAZING... but SIMPLE tips for keeping your glucose levels in a healthy range both after you eat and throughout your day.
1) Blood sugar spikes, also called hyperglycemia, and this can damage your nerves, eyes, and limbs.
2) While it's extremely important to monitor your glucose levels before and after you eat, you may not realize that there are other factors which can contribute to high blood sugar levels, including environmental and stress factors.
3) First, it's important to stay active. Aerobic exercise, which is moderate-intensity body movements that raise your heart rate, have been shown to help lower glucose levels. However, anaerobic activity, where muscles are put through more intense, short-burst movements, can actually raise blood sugar levels. So, jogging, cycling, walking, and even dancing can be great forms of exercise for lowering glucose levels. But weight lifting and other strength-training routines should be avoided if you're looking to lower your blood sugar after a workout.
4) Studies show that regularly eating low glycemic index foods can significantly reduce fasting glucose levels over time. However, when it comes to quickly reducing your glucose levels, foods low on the glycemic index can help you achieve this goal as well.
5) Studies show that poor sleep can have a detrimental affect on your glucose control. And disruption of your biological clock, especially by staying up late into the night, has been proven to worsen insulin resistance. Therefore, it's essential that you get quality sleep each night, and it's best to avoid daytime naps.
6) Berberine is a traditional Chinese compound which recent studies show may have a positive effect on your blood sugar. Animal trials now suggest that this herb can help to increase insulin sensitivity, insulin production, and may decrease liver glucose production while slowing carbohydrate absorption.
7) Stress may come from many places, including an injury, an illness, or your environment. And chronic inflammation has been shown to increase insulin resistance. Therefore, it's important to utilize calming techniques, like yoga, meditation, and mindfulness, day-to-day, to improve your mental and physical health. It can specifically work to help you lower your post-meal glucose levels.
8) The minerals chromium and magnesium both play an important role in fighting diabetes. Chromium can improve the effectiveness of insulin, and magnesium can help improve glucose uptake from your blood. Having a deficency in both minerals has been linked with an increased risk of developing type 2 diabetes.
9) Dehydration can cause glucose levels to rise. A recent study showed that participants who drank more water had lower glucose levels than participants who drank less water. Plus, drinking water before a meal can work to decrease your appetite, which can help you avoid potential glucose-spiking desserts and in-between-meal snacks.
10) Fiber is immensely important for your health, in general, but also your for your blood sugar control. Many studies have shown that eating more fiber reduces calorie intake, increases the feeling of fullness, and slows down the absorption of nutrients.

*My daughter drinks lots of water and urinates with the same rate, there are no other symptoms to show if those have anything to do with diabetes. This is a good information that I have gone through **Diabets.Care** She is 2 years 9 months, hale and healthy, have not done any blood test. But I am not certain if one can get diabetes at such a tender age. Please I will like to know more on that*

Something not widely known or talked about much is PCOS genetic disorder. Simple blood test can determine if she has it. I was diagnosed over 10 years ago, My Dr has been treating me wth medformine. I have been having all kinds of issues dispite my A1C in excellent balance, my blood glucose test beeing in a good range. A week ago I started wearing a Lebre 2 gluclose meter 24/7. I keep dropping like a rock below 70, especially when sleeping. The lowest I have been is 54. It's happening 4-6 times a day. I am so confused and thankful I have a Dr appointment tomorrow. I can't say forsure but I believe I am Hypoglycemic. My point is, everything was showing in normal range until this meter. I don't know if kids can have it but I know this Lebre 2 is saving my life.

My oldest son is in his early 20's and he has type 1 diabetes. But thank God for this piece of article kzfaq.infoUgkxVYhghKWmrUgXARZ_ydZTvmmcrw5L0I5i At first he thought he had the flu and was lying down on the bed for three days until his sister took him to the hospital. They took his blood and it was 600. What I do not understand is how he could have gotten it, since no one in the family has it. But he is winning the battle now. This is good stuff.

This video was amazing. I decided to try the berberine supplement after having way too many blood sugar spikes. I have been using it for a few days now, and it absolutely works! I did not want to take medication...so I was dieting...working out and taking cinnamon. My levels stayed at 200 or above. I took my sugar today...and it was 105. This is an amazing supplement. I cannot thank you enough for this video! Lifetime subscriber. 😃

My husband was diagnosed with type 2 in 2001 when he suffered from 2 stokes due to diabetic seizures. Since his discharge from the hospital, he has been doing well. I have managed to keep his readings between. 102 and 115. His A1C has been a 5 for years. He eats 3. eats a day, no inbetween snacks. Exercise is yard work from his wheelchair using a weed wacker as well as indoor exercises. All of his food portions are controlled and absolutely no sugar unless it is natural in veggies. He never drank, so that helps. My husband has been doing so well doctors ask “ Are you sure you are diabetic.”. Of course doctors know he is, then go on to ask how we do it.

As far as my experience, whole grains carries the same carbohydrate loads as the refined. Brown rice is just as bad as white. Some legumes are fine, but not all. We had problems with black-eyed peas. But, pintos and navy beans are better. Be careful, and test for yourself often. All expert opinions does not compare to the expert opinion of your glucose meter.

Absolutely! A low carb diet is the foundation upon which low blood sugar levels depend. Everything being relative, different foods work in different ways for different people. Your meter is your only authentic compass.

@@lornakurien7962 Hi, Lorna, most variety of peas are loaded with sugar. They don't work for me. I suggest you experiment with a moderate portion. Test and record: immediately before consuming them (your Base Line or BL reading, followed by half hour, one hour and one-and-a-half hour post meal readings. This ought to give you an accurate indication of the range and extent of your tolerance towards peas. Best wishes.

I've pretty much been doing everything listed to varying degrees: cutting carbs. and going for fiber or blood sugar lowering foods, taking berberine with meals and exercising after meals per naturopath's prescription, and trying to manage stress. But, I've found the best method of these hands down - most cut and dry (since the other methods are more complicated with other factors) is exercise regularly. I like to walk, do some strength training and dance to Bhangra videos. I've seen my blood sugar lower spot on 3 pts. per minute as I was once told it would with moderate exercise.
