Excellent vlog as always Dean glad you are keeping well how ironic today my 2018 Corsa 1.4 automatic was running rough idle and hesitant today checked it out was p0171 code system too lean bank 1 I think this may possibly have occurred from yesterday was going to service change oil filter air and pollen but I took off the oil filter first and the motor factors gave me the wrong size so I had to put the same one back on but luckily didn’t drain the oil so shall be servicing this week once I have the correct filter so may have been the pressure who knows although I have checked over and cleaned the maf sensor as well with wd40 contact cleaner best regards to you mark from billericay 😃👍

Those solenoids are a pain in the arse when the oil is shite,had the same problem on a ford focus with the variable valve timing solenoid, so you're probably right with a new filter and decent oil... I've been told Alot of people remove the metal meshes to stop them getting clogged up too 💁 but each to their own

So when the car is cold, it gets lumpy every time I lift off the throttle and coasting up to a junction with the clutch in it even cuts out sometimes. I do think I should have a full service done on it as I have bought it unseen from an auction but I still think it is more than just a service. Can you help please?

Hopefully the rs7 plug tips don’t melt and drop off like they do in some golf r’s and help screw the piston,
@tommorides8086
@tommorides8086 3 жыл бұрын
Its because you arent supposed to be running these plugs in a Golf. I havent the time to find out whether they run hotter or colder plugs between the cars. But its more than likely the issue when fitting these plugs to Golfs. This of course doesnt say, you cannot run a slightly hotter or colder plug. But the difference with the Rs7 plugs could be massive hence the issues when doing so.

It's as if you have lost interest, so many projects started and not finished and lately big gaps between uploads which impacts your growth. Surely you still owe your mate for the Porsche, a project I am sure many have been looking forward to but it's just been gathering dust.
