i dont know if any one ever watched Bob Ross painting series. but Rebecca talking about being violet to the static diamonds makes me think of Bob saying "Beat the Devil out of it"

I have the same storage. I had a moment of insanity. I decided to do diamond paintings for Christmas. I have 10 to do and not alot of time. I have been listening to your videos and getting those gifts done!!!!

Dryer sheets are magic! We don't get them in store in South Africa, so I was ecstatic when I found some imported ones from the UK on our version of Amazon. They were very reasonably priced as well, so I immediately ordered a box. They make SUCH a difference when the staticy resin drills

Hello Rebecca, I really enjoy the longer kitting ups and downs . WIP and Chats are by far my favorite . I usually don't watch the unboxing vids . Too depressing for me . Because I cannot afford to purchase any painting for the foreseeable future , and it makes me sad to know I can't get the ones I fell in love with . Can't wait for the wips on this beauty to begin . Looking forward to them .

Yeah I started to put the dryer sheet in the baggie right at her end of kitting up walking in the Rain 😂 I think you were wise to split your kitting up on this one 😅 and yes please do a video of you sorting the symbols, I think it will help others that are doing this or Outside the Sweetshop.. 😘👍🏻💚

Rebecca I have found when I get drills that have a lot of static,this is what I use take a large piece of aluminum foil rub on the out side of the bags both sides also put a long strip in side the bags and it works great every time.Hope you try this and it works for you. Don't count the minutes make the minutes COUNT!😊

That's a new one on me. Never heard of using Aluminum Foil on/in the bags of staticy drills before. You intrigued me with this idea. Thank You and God Bless you and your family.

Loved watching/listening to your kitting up video whilst I diamond painted. I was laughing when the drills were not behaving themselves! I bought some dryer sheets and scent boosters for static drills to give a try. I would love it to see the full process including sorting the symbols ❤

I would love a video of the sorting. I have a painting with over 240 colors in my stash, but I put it of. Don't really know how to start kitting up. The video could be my cheat sheet😅

I kitted up Outside the Sweetshop last weekend. Because they were so staticky, it took me 8 hours to kit it all up. I did four hours on Friday night and did the other four hours Saturday morning. 😅

I was considering the names of the drills. I reckon the ones that defy gravity could be called the rebel gang. The ones that are slow to fall could be called acquiescent. I haven’t thought of the name for the well behaved yet. Maybe they’re on Santa’s good list😊. I’m so glad that A Walk In The Rain won, even though the Sweet Shop is gorgeous too.

I'm so glad I watched this video before I started kitting up Outside the Sweet Shop. The dryer sheets are a game changer and saved me so much aggravation. Plus it is fun shaking the bags 😊

On the baggies you cut I cut a corner and shove the sheet in then fold and shake. I would enjoy a organizing video.

Super fun video! Yes we want to see you sort your symbols in a video. We all have our unique methods so always curious. So glad you have figured out the best method to handle your static. It shouldn’t be such a chore in the future. Can’t wait for you to start this painting. I voted for it because I haven’t seen it being worked on in a video so far.

Love this. ❤i haven’t done a big one for a while because of storage wise so i keep to the 30x40 40x50 frame area so I can storage them in my folder

I always use the method you figured out. Works fine for me especially for paintings with lots of colors (200+). Would drive me nuts not using dryer sheets.

Hi Rebecca! Just wanted to tell you that I’ve been using the dryer sheets in the baggies and shaking them before pouring the diamonds into the bottles for quite a while. I was going to suggest it to you a while back, but I was intimidated - who am I to try to teach the Master???? 😂😂😂. LOL! I’ll just kidding, but I am glad you found the same magic trick! It’s sooooo much better than other things I’ve tried. I’m happy to watch the kitting up trilogy! (or two-part series). 😁 Enjoy the rest of whatever day you read this! 😁

It's defiantly something that changes the way I think about static diamonds. There not as much of a big deal this way.

I'm thinking... jumping Jack's for really static drills. Shakespeare's for the to be or not to be well behaved diamonds and Taylor swifts for those you have to "shake it off, shake it off" 😂

Personally I’d have photocopied the sticker sheets and highlighted all the numbers in one colour, then letters in another colour , then maths symbols in another, etc and worked it out on paper first. Basically the same thing you do physically. I like a plan. I’d also label the foam and write out a list of what is on each layer and put it the netting. I might not need to use it, but I’d like to have it, just in case. x

Hi Rebecca, what a mammoth task. Would it work looking at the canvas in sections , like the 2 lengths you have put the cover paper on and see what colours you will be using on them and have them on your upper level. Just wondering if it would be worth spending the time before you start so that when you're dabbing they will be good to go and you wouldn't be hunting the symbols.

Hey Rebecca... i found that rubbing alcohol on a cotton quetip ( not to wet tho ... and rolling it round inside the bag works wonders ... have alot on sanitizer alcohol left from covid that i use )

How do you kit up 190 colours ? You need many plastic containers. It’s very expensive.
