On April 29, 2019 , Diana Ross attended at the Christian Dior Resort 2020 show at the 16th century El Badi Palace in Marrakesh, Morocco .
The Queen of music, took to the stage at the after party of the Dior Cruise 2020 .
Dresses in a glittering silver Dior haute couture gown and a dramatic cape, the icon opened the show with her 1980 hit, I’m Coming Out, followed by Upside Down, You Can’t Hurry Love, Love Hangover and of course, Ain’t No Mountain High Enough.
For the Dior spring-summer 2020 cruise collection, creative director Maria Grazia Chiuri traveled to Marrakesh, Morocco for a presentation of looks inspired by African cultures and created in collaboration with local artisans.
The show was also a nod to Christian Dior’s first successor Yves Saint Laurent, who hailed from nearby Oran Algeria; a version of his Marrakech coat is included in the line.
