@stellanewton7656 With the same training Nightwing got, he would be able to do at least half. Dick was trained to be a weapon and a detective from the age of nine (in this continuity, it varies a bit.) Peter was a poor kid in New York. He never had a reason to train like that.

After seeing the portrayal of Dick Grayson in Teen Titans, I didn't think that could be topped, but as I've gotten older, I've come to love this portrayal of Dick Grayson more and more. His inner struggle of fighting between wanting to be Batman and becoming like Batman is done in a way that respects who he is and his ability as a leader whereas other versions would treat Nightwing as fodder. This is Dick Grayson done right

@@chrystheo808 Eh, he dated Zatanna when he was still Robin although that was off-screen and it ended on good terms. Him dating Barbara was to be expected, but it doesn't detract or degrade his character in anyway.

@@cottonmather8146 yeah no and i liked both of these relationships but he was also with bumblebee who looked older than the rest of them and in the comic tie-ins Wally says he's "such a dog" and Barbara agrees when she visits him for his birthday. It really doesn't even come up much but they tried to make him a playboy which doesn't really go with his character.

Greg Weisman said (in his blog I believe) that the reason why he laughs whenever he ninjas was that when Batman taught him the trick the whole idea of disappearing from conversations mid sentence was so funny to 9 year old Dick that he couldn't help but laugh and honestly that's really endearing. Of the OG team he's both the most experienced and the most childlike due to him starting at 9, having like 5 years of experience.

This is without a doubt my favorite depiction of Dick Grayson I think in any Batman related media, like ever. It really gets across the thing I feel a lot of portrayals miss: Dick Grayson is amazing, he's one of the best, but he's not perfect and that's even better to me. He's smart, funny, sexy, and so charming, but he makes mistakes, and his mistakes often feel so realistic even in the context of the crazy universe he lives in. It makes me sad that we'll probably never get to see the full story of his relationship with Jason (especially Jason as the second Robin) in this universe because in the comics I feel like that's one of Dick's most interesting interpersonal relationships. Because like Dick made A LOT of mistakes with Jason as Robin that I think would've been very interesting to see Young Justice tackle. I love him in Batman: the Animated Series and Teen Titans, but like Young Justice just so perfectly nailed everything I love about him as his own character. Like BTAS got him right as Batman's counterpart (but I don't feel like we really got enough of him as Nightwing,) and Teen Titans showed what a great leader he was, but I feel like Young Justice really showed all of that and more. You could say they really stuck the landing. 😉

I love both Teen Titans and Young Justice Robins. But where this Robin succeeds where Teen Titans Robin fails is that he’s able to be lighthearted and crack some jokes, y’know, like a kid. A lot of times titans Robin is too serious in my opinion, I always liked the more immature and playful Robin, while also still being serious when he has to. Which is even better when he becomes nightwing, because he’s able to mature and grow up, whilst nightwing in Teen Titans just feels the same as Robin did.

I love that this show gave us, Dick Grayson in a different way, where it starts out with him as Robin and literally next season he becomes Nightwing but there’s a time jump. Still, love the fact that this a sort of Teen Titans series just with a different story and name, plus Starfire and Raven aren’t in it. Also I really liked the fact that Jason Todd exists in this universe but I think we should have gotten an explanation of what happened to him.
