I think you’re right striker And I have something to add on to your theory, When we saw cozy battle on the royal Guards We saw her use free extreme Innate magic abilities Such as blasting,Forcefield, And making portals And according to you Cozy glow need to know about three types of magic Innate magic, Magic from users, And artifact magic. And who else we know who knows those three types of magic, Who else studied magic, And who else uses the same magic techniques that cozy glow use To battle the royal guards,that’s right I think cozy glow Studied magic From Chancellor neighsay’s EEA book. And there’s actually proof to this In the season eight finale Before she manipulated The students to Turn on him She was holding the EEA Book So I think that’s why She was able to almost drain magic out of a Equestria and To almost beat twilight But what do you think?

I think it's more likely she just saw the spells in action and deduced how they worked from that. Like how Twilight came up with a block for Starlight's Cutie Mark Removal spell, despite having only seen it once and having spent a majority of her time afterwards without her Cutie Mark. By the time Cozy becomes a Alicorn, she's seen variants of all these spells in action.

I always finding kinda strange how cozy was able to be so skilled on the ending of the end and how she was able to control such powerful magic in so little time maybe chrysalis and tirek teach her some basic stuff or she was just doing spells randomly just destroying stuff like flurry which it was impressive to see her abilities but cozy was in a different level she was able to learn how to open portal and making shields

Idk maybe i would prefered if cozy was in a low level with her magic but that would make would ending of the end less epic

I wondered that too. It saw weird. And If she had learned low level magic, she probably would have to rely on her cleverness instead. But who knows? Let me know what you think about it.

@@golly_glow2102 More likely she learned by observation. The same way Twilight deduced a way to block Starlight's cutie mark removal spell, after having observed it once.

Good theory. Alternatively: The more magic one has, the easier it is to cast spells. More magic is also hard to control, so something like alicorn magic needs an output if the alicorn has not been trained to contain and controll her own magic. If lasers are pure magical energy being released, then they wouldn't require training even if the alicorn using them is still new to being an alicorn. This is why flurry heart could do it despite being a newborn, cozy glow could do it, and Twilight was able to take on Tirek. As for Pumpkin Cake, she doesn't have the magic of an alicorn, but because she is a baby, she still has random bursts of magic. Rarity confirms for us in that episode that this is normal. As for Cozy besting Twilight without training, she just caught her off gaurd is all. I wouldn't call one side shooting a single laser a duel.

I hadn't thought of it that way. That is possible so thank you for the input. But I still believe she studied magic. I just love how it add so much depth to Cozy Glow as a character.

Exactly, that wasn't even a duel. A while later Twilight was able to make a shield strong enough to hold a much bigger and stronger laser from Cozy.

I think Cozy Glow simply gained all that ability directly from Grogar's bell. :3 It probably took her a few minutes to get used to it off-screen, like how she couldn't control Discord's magic. I like your counterclaim OC btw lmao. Very interesting video! Always good when people discuss ponies in-depth.

Thank you! And it is entirely possible that she gained that ability. But then it wouldn't explain why that ability didn't work with discords magic. And thank you, my channels still new but I'm glad others are starting to stop by and check out what I have to offer. But we do need more MLP theorist out there.

@@lollie_xo adding to this, chaos magic isnt well documented so cozy wouldnt of been able to read about it and she seemed genuinly shocked when she got a taste of it, as if its some new type of magic she has never seen or heard of before so i think it was! I think cozy had 0 idea chaos magic was a thing so she didnt know how to use it or control it and clearly magic has a feel to the user and seeing the way cozy and the others reacted I am willing to bet chaos magic feels insane (literally) and thus would cause someone to lose control or go insane if they werent meant to use it but this also explains why discord is so chaotic and "insane" its because his magic drives him mad

Baby unicorns do have sporadic magic bursts, hence why Pumpkin could do those spells. Pound could fly so well because ... I don't know, baby magic stuff. And we all know Pegasi use magic to fly. But I really like this theory about Cosy. 😊

Actually we know that baby unicorns have magical bursts, though I think as they got older the unicorns would have to train there magic. Also I think the spells of baby unicorns where ment to accomplish some said unicorn wanted? Examples : pumpkin cake and flurry heart

@@WindStriker i’m gonna be honest here I really haven’t watch that much in MLP😅. I was watching a watchmojo video and the song from the show “better way to be bad” popped up. I really like this song and Cozy glows design. I did some research on her and I really liked her character so I decided to watch some episodes to the show but only the episodes she was in. I knew A little bit about chrysalis going into the show because of the watch mojo video but nothing about Tirek. Cozy glow is still my favorite but I really like chrysalis now and Tirek……. Is there to😅

Cozy Glow actually made a big mistake when draining all the magic. The Tree of Harmony was active at this time. So why was the Tree of Harmony active when she drained all the magic in Eqeustria? I think you should make a video about that.

In the MLP Special "Rainbow Roadtrip", the local librarian tells Twilight they have books on the 3 types of pony magic: "Arcane" (unicorns), "Elemental" (pegasi "flight" / dragon´s "fire" / earthling´s strength) & "Astral" (soul/spiritual magic like the one binding chimeras into one being, or what changelings use to shapeshift). -> Later in that special Twilight discovers and names a fourth "Hopeless" type of magic (drains colors & supresses emotions), likely similar to Starlight´s "=" cutiemark curse, or Pinkie´s depressive "aura". Cozy Glow made a seal that summoned and contained ONLY the "Arcane" magic in Equestria (both from living beings and artifacts), precisely to allow pegasi like herself to still fly & earth ponies to feed everypony. -> Her objective was to eliminate the main advantage of unicorns & alicorns (to be able to "store" & accumulate their magic into potions and talismans), so as even as a simple pegasus she would have a fair chance on world domination.

It is literally the FUSION of 6 small fragments taken from the "essences" of 6 ponies (3 stallions, 3 mares), contained in a "Crystal Core Seed" [same kind of artifact than the one Celestia used as a holo-projector in MLP:FiM S3E01]. It was left alone for 1000 years, growing passively by absorbing the "living background energies" that converge on the 2_way_beams "Layline Crossing" that is the whole Everfree Forest [of what Ponyville & the Castle of the Two Sisters is just a small part]. -> It had to fight continously both the natural "vines" of the Forest (following the general "Directive" of Starswirl, who was the one in charge of that task before), as well as the special "plunder seeds" of Discord that slowly depleated its previous "stockpile" of Astral Energy (after the remotion of its "6 cores" [Elements] took away its ability to feed itself). . Ponhenge and the Rock Farm are smaller 3_ways crossings [inside a triangular surface defined by 3 thin, shorter Laylines (rather than a greater region)]. Both places "run" instead on the remaining energies from the souls of recently dead magical creatures (gathered by the natural "anima currents" of the Realm); either powering Runes/Sigils ["Pony Rulez"]; or spontaneously developing "Soul Crystals" underground [used by ponies like Maud & Sunburst as magical replacements of wood logs in campfires for light & heat].

Is it possible that she actually is much older than she looks and is well versed in magical arts avaible to her? (like she knows much about artifacts and how to use them for example this magical item to open Tartarus )

Yeah, our themes are similar, although I try to make sure I'm not a replica of them, because Sawtooth did inspire me to create this channel, but Sawtooth and I have only exchanged messages. I don't really know them on a personal level. ^^
