I've had my F150 Tremor for a month now and completely satisfied. So far just added Husky wheel liners and rollup soft tonneau cover.. no other mods planned

At $68k , here is a reason to stay with the Tremor and not get a Raptor : the Tremor will fit in my parking space and /or garage .

Hey guys, just FYI, with the 2000W you can pretty much run anything that plugs into 110V outlet. P=V*I, so 2000W/110V = 18.2A. Most of your 110V appliances/outdoor equipment will be under 15 amps to not trip home breakers. So yes plug in fast cordless battery chargers for power tools, plug in chainsaw, lawnmower, blender, even alot of microwaves you could run.

I have a 2022 F-150 Tremor on order in Antimatter Blue. I did the mid pkg with the glass roof. I went with this truck as I tow, haul and use a truck for a truck. I do spend a lot of time in it as I’m a realtor as well. Anyways will give you my full thoughts once I get it and spend some time with it but super excited! I had a 14 Tremor and it was a very nice truck. Mostly just a dressed up truck, but being a single cab, it was bit lighter and performed pretty well. I just placed an order for a 22.

Just bought a Tremor, obviously pretty stoked. The progression you guys described at the end is exactly what I went through, ha.

tbh I'm very impressed with your TRX, you probably got one the first if not the first TRX out of the factory, one could have expected for it to show a lot of problems in terms of reliability and fit and finish, but apart from that trans bug that disappeared after restart it's been flawless even considering that you pushed it hard during your ownership.

A 1 inch lift always just looks so perfect on pretty much all trucks and of course tires to match

The Tremor on a super duty is just a great package and truck combo. The f150 is nice I saw a Ranger with the Tremor package.

This is my favorite looking of the pickups .. Namely the clean face. package seems like the right package for most people. 33" is right size for most people. seems like a very nice stealthy bang for buck performer. and then you said the price... 68k... yikes. and then I was hoping it would have the raptor highway ride... but too big... complicated.

It's a more appropriate setup for a truck intended to work. The raptor and TRX are trucks that go beyond what a daily driver and work truck requires. The TRX and Raptor are like a Jeep on large tires, as a daily driver, they are not optimal. I think the Tremor is taking the truck to the point just before the utility drops of into the less-than-ideal.

23 Black 3.5L new Tremor owner. Love the Tremor. It rides better than. my 18 3.5L Platinum. Loads and loads and loads of torque . This truck is quick and pulls hard. Off-road options are legit and love the Torsion! TIres/rims are super nice as this truck is awesome looking. Interior is as nice as my 18 Platty. Better ride than the 18 and the stock exhaust sounds good. Very capable truck on or off-road that is raising the bar in this segment!

Still haven’t heard you guys say if you’re ok without the availability of towing mirrors or are you disappointed? If you have the ability to tow a big camp trailer, tow mirrors should be an option.

Dealers are throwing 15k on top of the raptor msrp. If you can get a MSRP price Tremor, its probably the better option economically. The depreciation on the Raptors from what they're being sold right now, will be insane if the market stabilizes.

Am I correct that the only way to get the auto awd transfer case is the high option for 13K upcharge. The mid and low option have a normal transfer case like an XLT. I would definitely add the torsen for 500 bucks.

I have a $68k 22 Tremor and love it. Was nicer on trails than the Raptor because I can fit down trails I could not do with my Raptors. By the way I had an 18 & 20 Raptor , so I know the comparison of the 2. I DO NOT live out west I live in Wisconsin where we have trails NOT open dessert. If I lived out west I’d have another Raptor.

Though I sold Fords from 1990 to 2005, I did Google the following information regarding the true original origin of the tremor name with Ford. I knew that it started as a stereo system upgrade but I couldn’t remember what year. This is what I found from a tremor forum. There were some great pics for memories sake. In the following I’ll quote what the person typed but also provide the link. “Many of you may not know the full history of the Ford Tremor nameplate so I figured it would be great to do a write up on all the different versions that Ford has made of the Tremor. Ranger Tremor In 2002 Ford gave us the first Tremor, this is the truck you probably don't know about. Instead of this truck being a street truck package or offroad package it was actually a sound system upgrade. The Tremor package consisted of a 485-watt Pioneer sound system, 10-inch sub woofer, new head unit with CD player, cassette player and AM/FM radio which was rather impressive for the time. To power all of this the Tremor came with an upgraded alternator, but wait there's more! The Tremor was available in Chrome Yellow, black or Sonic Blue and included 5 spoke wheels, white faced gauges and the all important bedside decal, the Tremor was also offered in style side or flare side bed configurations. Does the Tremor have dual exhaust from the downpipes back or is it split after the muffler? EDIT: I see they posted a video of the truck from below and it is indeed single exhaust until after the muffler.

I’m really wanting to see the Ike towing with the Tremor. I use my F150 to tow my toys in the mountains. Will be interesting to see how the 3.73s with the Ecoboost does compared to the max tow 3.55s.

To answer Romans question about brand loyalty, I travel and meet a lot of people for my detailing business, more often than not, youll see a whole household of Fords, Dodges etc especially with truck people. Very, very rarely do I see households with a Ford and Dodge product for example

I really like the new F150 tremor, but being in Mexico they just offer mid level Tremor so think is 402A package but it’s not the height package and the difference in cost of the this tremor vs the next option here which is the platinum is only 2.5k usd so. Buying f150 in platinum in this country is smarter. Another concern is that we don’t know for how long F150 tremor will be offered and thinking in the resale again I think platinum makes more sense. (Even I like more how the tremor look)

The thing about the raptor these days is the dealer mark up is minimum 10k I've seen them up to 30k over msrp.

My buddy got a Ford Tremor barely few months old. Ford is buying his truck back due to the inconsistent paint job. There are patches and I'm surprised nobody at the plant or the dealership saw that. Otherwise a great looking truck.

It would be better to compare a fully loaded Raptor to fully loaded Tremor. On the Canadian Ford site (for example) a Raptor with the 801A High package is $96,294 , a Tremor with the 402A High package, interior work surface & Co-Pilot 2.0 Active is $77,935 ... a difference of $18,359. Most dealerships are going to order a fully loaded Raptor (some with the 37`tire package too! If you want a basic Raptor most likely a factory order, period!

Andre, answer my tough decision.. F150 Tremor or Tundra TRD Pro? I mainly drive highway and I’m always speeding, but I really like the look on both of these and can’t decide. Prices are similar too.

So can I put a 1" lift in my 2022 F150 Lariat FX4 PowerBoost when I get it and basically convert it to a Tremor w/ ProPower but w/o the yellow highlights and decals? The Lariat FX4 already comes with 33" tires as 275/60R20 (but less sidewall) and is in pretty much the same price range. Oops, I won't have the better skid lates, limited slip front differential or the Raptor transfer case.

You guys mention that the tremor pricing is close to the raptor, so get the raptor. In the US, it’s been my experience for many years that I’ve never seen a raptor priced less than $10,000 over sticker - at least where I live in the SW (USA). The dealers are asking $20,000 over sticker for the gen 3 raptors in jun of 2023! I just bought my Tremor for $6,000 under sticker and would have rather had a raptor but at $25,000 difference it was a non-starter.

I just ordered the 22 Tremor $65,000 with the high package. I have been driving Tundra's for 20 years. Disappointed to hear that it only gets 17 mpg on the highway.

i feel like ford did the right move with the raptor leaving the engine pretty much untouched and focusing on everything else. because historically engines always have been at the forefront of innovation always making more power reliably, but power is nothing without control; and brakes, tires and suspensions have always been lagging behind trying to catch-up with cars and trucks always getting larger, heavier and more powerful.

We live in Texas and are planning to buy an airstream trailer to occasionally visit friends in Colorado and California. Thinking about a 2500 model truck or a SUV. What are your thoughts on towing with either of those vehicles?

Andre bought an expensive lame looking truck for a few mpg gain. Trade it in bro! These new trucks are cool and comfortable but super expensive. Im used to owning 3 used vehicles for $50-$60k. Truck, sports car and minivan(camping, roadtrips, sleep inside). Gonna switch the sports car for a Lexus ES/GS in the spring. The new Tundra has me tempted to reduce cars but i will scratch and dent and get it dirty inside and out. A nice new truck won’t exactly hold its looks, niceties and value after doing that for few years

So now Ford has solved the 5.0L problem in 2024. 2K watt plug is enough for my small camper, or run a compressor fridge. Did the switchbacks on Shafer Trail with my 2WD F150. When I looked out the front, all I could see was air, no road. Had to remind myself there was a road out there. The brand with Maximum loyalty is Toyota no doubt.

You guys should compare the Tremor 402A to the Lariat 502A with FX4 not the Raptor. The Tremor fits in nicely as a better choice to the FX4 on an STX, XLT and Lariat. The Raptor stands alone.

With today's pricing I'd stick with a kitted out Tremor at $68k over a $90k+ Raptor. The gap in prices of these two is so much more now.

I bought a 68 thousand dollar tremor. You said I should have bought a raptor? I would love to. A 68 thousand raptor doesn't exist. They are all marked up with adms to 100 grand.

Toyota truck buyers are by far the most loyal group I know of... they rarely even ever test drive the competiton. Also... the vast majority of Chevy trucks are built in the US. Toyota is about to move all Tacoma production to Mexico.

Maybe I'm missing something. Isn't this a basic F150 with a small lift (1" in front?) and 18" wheels to make the tires look beefier? Stock tire size when 20" wheels are spec'd on any F150 (whether it's Platinum or STX) is 275mm wide by 33" tall. Stock size on Tremor is the exact same, just on an 18" wheel. Other than that front locker and some orange stripes, how is the Tremor much different than your run of the mill F150? Serious question folks. I personally think it's a lot of hype. I would bet in back to back real-world comparisons that there would be no difference from a basic 4x4 crewcab 5.5 bed with electronic rear locker and a Tremor. Problem is, all the hype has raised the dealer price on Tremors. Ford website allows you to build a 400a Tremor for $53k. Right! Try finding one for that price, off the lot. P.S. The Raptor is a TRUE offroad package. I may never be able to afford a Raptor, but comparing it to a Tremor is preposterous. Don't get me wrong; I would buy a Tremor if it was priced fairly for what it is: a wheel and tire package with a slight lift. But for now, I will do my own lift and tires for many thousands of dollars less, and have my own choice of engines.

TRX is great until you pay for the gas ⛽ especially in CA. I would get new Tremor vs used Raptor.

I'm disappointed. I have an F250 Tremor, wanting to trade for the F150. I really like the F150 tremor, but really want the sleeper seats, and Hybrid. But I also want the lift, upfitters, and skid plates. Why didn't they offer them on the tremor!!!

I disagree. The tremor is a good package, that I can agree upon, but…this thing is not as affordable as a Chevy Silverado Trail Boss. If I’m correct those trucks are starting mid to low 40s? The Tremor was discussed at starting in the 50ish range. Where I live there are a lot of custom Trail Bosses driving around and rebels too, but I only saw one guy with a Tremor F150,. I understand production issues, but if this thing is supposed to be a hit, thought I’d see more than just one driving around.

As to truck loyalty, my dad had a 1953 Ford truck that he put in a 351 cu. in Cadillac engine and later a 1955 Ford truck with a Ford V-8. He used these trucks in the 1950's-1960's and then the 1990's. NO NEW FORD TRUCKS. My Dad was very mechanical able and all his stuff is now viewed as exceptionally valuable. That's NOT why he chose those trucks. Having said that, he favored Ford.......until he favored Toyota and Honda. He chose stuff that was RELIABLE. i have chosen to drive Toyota trucks.

What is the percentage of USA-sourced content of each of these high-value trucks? What are the source countries for the major components? Who's engines are assembled in China? I know GM seems to have started the trend of foreign-sourced engines years ago, and I was really turned off by their window stickers revealing that the engines were, indeed, sourced from China. My experience with Chevy has been one with significant quality issues in my wife's former Chevy Malibu. I was always replacing something on that car because it was really an amalgamation of super-mediocre quality Chinese parts.

Wait, with high prices, who buys this trucks? 11 years ago I watched videos even top trim trucks were within reach, now basic model are the same price as the past top trims. How much do you need to make? Were do all of this people work? Me and my wife make $75k a year and can't afford a $50k truck. I love full size interior space, but I can't seem to pay for one and all I can are Tacomas and frontiers. Plus, of you want to get toys? Side by sides?
