Glad to see she’s still kicking! Should I worry about my intercooler on a stage 1 tune ECU/TCU (034)? I never have done launches if that matters at all.

To be sure you should also change your oil, water can (but must not) go passt the piston rings.

I wonder how you didn't get missfires with that leaky brick. You said at the end that your divorce reservoir level was low. Thats a good amount of leak. Does it make a difference that you had water and not coolant?

Had a similar failure on my SQ5. I was divorced as well but running a very water rich mix. Both bricks started leaking after a pull and an EPC light came on at 4th gear. Pulled over and saw the SC reservoir was low. Not nearly as bad as your situation. Negligible leak when the motor was off. Motor just ate the pint or two of coolant mix. Changed my cores, plugs and she was good to go. Dont think it was caused by a heat spike but the cores just got old and said byeee. Kind of reminded me when my check valve for water meth failed on my old K04 GTI. Misfires at idle until it died. Bad time to be stuck in traffic.

Had to get a new battery Saturday for c7.5, Thursday was the soonest I could schedule the battery management to let the car know it had a new battery. The car failed to start for 2 hours with engine light and epc light on, unhooked negative cable twice for 10 mins with no success. Now it just fired up like nothing happened. Did the car go into a protection mode?

Hey! I saw one of your videos where you tried to test spinning your crankshaft by hand. And I had a question- My question is whether the car must be in neutral to test whether the engine is seized. I have the same Engine (TFSI 3.0 supercharged in a Audi a7 first gen) and I've tried everything to start it Context- I bought it from an auction to fix with my father who's been a mechanic for over 40 years and I've been waiting for him to get back before completely removing the engine. The car was in a accident but for some reason won't turn over and just makes one click. Short stories is I ruled out pyro fuse, bad terminal wires, put a new battery and already did the adaptation, relays haven't been tested by I hear the starter so I assumed it works(as far as the solenoid). Just the engine not turning over, and to test whether it turns I need to know whether it should be in neutral. I've did it while in park but could not turn it from the supercharger pulley.
