I arrived in Clark on the 29th, staying in Porac with family of my asawa. Riding around Angeles area with my eyes peeled, looking for Brian and Louisa!! Of course, you are elsewhere!! I was stationed at Clark AB in early 1977 to 1979. I have some info about Lilly Hill on Clark if you are interested. I was Military Police, now I am retired from a PD just outside of Chicago after 40 years service.

My wife got that once while in the Philippines on vacation. She was miserable. Got food poisoning last year. She has the worst luck. I guess shingles is pretty prevalent over there. Glad you're better.

I got the shingle vaccine last year. Took the first shot before coming here and took the booster when I returned to USA in November.

Brian To bad you didn't get the FREE vaccine shots from the pharmacy while you were in America last. Shingles vaccine are free and very recommended for people over 50.

@@gregg360 they free in America, and looks like Australia. I'm 61 and not got the vaccine. I'm a American and should have gotten the vaccine, but in Philippines now. I'm going to check about getting vaccine in Philippines. But Philippines is very behind on allot of it's medication to the public

HI BRIAN , Glad to see are o.k. Here in USA , the shingles are going around , a few people I know got it , an older friend eventually DIED from complications. I got the shingles vaccine AND a second booster shot. Next time you come back to USA , my offer of a STEAK SANDWICH still stands... A few hours from your home time. Stay safe. GOD BLESS CIAO

I did get shingles shot.. In the USA.. About 2 month before I came to the Philippines.. Does the Philippines have these shots available I have no idea ?? I have no idea if you need a booster shot after a few years

I also opted to live in Pangasinan my wife's province.Im 30 minutes from SM but I rarely go there.I suggest you build a little house of your own,and just cook for your immediate family not her entire family or it gets expensive.Enjoy yourself 😊

Shingles is painful. I worked with somebody that had it and he said that was a painful experience. I had to have vaccination for it.

I was certain it was shingles after lot explained the symptoms. I just completed my second vaccine because i want no part of that chit and i had chicken pox as a kid.

Hope you are feeling better. I had a shingles outbreak not bad but it was painfull. There is a 2 shot vaccine for the shingles. 30 days after you are recovered you can get it. It does not mean you can't catch it again but the rash will be real small. Do yourself a favor and get it.

The best treatment for shingles (blisters) is kerosene or lighter fluid. It dries out the weeping sores, relieves pain, and is a disinfectant. I know people will say it is carcinogenic, but it's a minimal risk vs the pain and suffering.

You can be the hero in province. KZfaq how to pump water up or down hill to village. It's not necessary to physically haul water, simple engineering. Hope I help. I can see from Mommas feed. You both have a tremendous amount of love. Simple PVC and a little engineering. Hope that helps my brother

I have heard the shingles virus is a real bitch so I got the vaccination as soon as I could. Hopefully that will prevent me from getting in in the future. Best wishes on your transition to the province.

Shingles sounds rough. I'll never have to deal with it as I've never had chicken pox. Conversely, encountering chicken pox at my age will kill me, which is probably worse than shingles. I sometimes joke that after everything I've survived, it will be a 5 year old that takes me out in the end. 😂

I knew one guy that had those symptoms for 6 months and someone else for 9 months. Each couldn't get off the couch and one contemplated suicide because of the non-stop pain. Usually, stress brings it on. I know you're antivaxx, but you should get the vaccine because it can return. I heard that Cloud 9 is not the same after the super-typhoon wrecked the reef. Give us an update on that.

Philly, you better install a parental control app or something similar on your Starlink router, modem, or whatever it is. It sounds like everybody and their mother will be connected to your Starlink. You don't want males looking for inappropriate things. You could get in trouble big time. Two things I don't share with anybody. Food and Wifi. 🙂

I got starlink in the mountain. Works good until it gets foggy or low clouds or heavy rain. Then I lose it for 30 min. or more. Anyone else have this problem ?

yes...Starlink does NOT WORK in heavy rain, thick low clouds, fog, smoke from seasonal fires nor heavy sleet or hail. Here in florida we get heavy rains for somtimes 3 days and it doesnt work..all summer there is long outage
