I worked in the fashion industry, however not in Africa The way things like this can be done sometimes especially for online folk is people buy from second hand places. If you know anything about Hermes another designer brand, their bags are notoriously difficult to get a hold of regardless of your money or status. It's not a shortage issue for them however it's a status thing, they choose who gets to buy their bags and wear them to maintain their image. Over the years rich people have been reseling these amongst themselves and on online websites. Replicas are also very common for celebrities, people will have a few authentic things and mix with things that aren't because it isn't always necessary and sometimes it's a safety issue because they put themselves at risk of losing money. I know people who keep their real jewels and valuable items outside of their possession and secure yo avoid being a target. If they do become targeted they don't lose as much money if they're robbed the wrong thing. It's the same way women buy replicas or get them made when they are given diamonds for their wedding rings. We surely can't be suprised. I understand though because social media makes it very difficult to decipher what is real and what isn't and it's so easy to forget and fall into the trap of thinking everything we see is a fact.

No I don’t think so. Remember Dubai is like the biggest Shopping hub for luxury If not Turkey so they are found to wait that long considering the amount of people that comes to buy. In South Africa it takes about 3 to 6 months waiting period. And some people buy overseas for such thing where there is stock so they don’t typically wait for long. Dubai you are bound to wait for long because of the demand.
