Haters gonna hate, so it's not going to take stats and numbers that change their mind. It's going to be outside factors such as Ohtani play for their team, speak English, or other silly non-stat related details.

Shohei has already accumulated 3 years of unprecedented and insane seasons in MLB history. That would have been enough, except most old heads and biased media are downplaying his achievement. He would have been considered the GOAT already if only he is from... you know where.😂

Shohei Ohtani recorded the best back-to-back games in history when he hit two home runs and drove in eight in one game, then struck out twelve in the next. Shohei recorded the best season in history in 2021 or 2022, take your pick. Shohei recorded the best first-half of a season this year. And now he has recorded the best month in history. And if he keeps this up for a few more years, he will have recorded the best career in baseball history. 🚩 Shohei For The Win! 🚩

He's already the goat in my eyes and I'm sure for a lot of people too. Even the Oakland A's DH player just said he wants to get a picture of him hitting a homer off Ohtani signed by him at the ASG because he is already the greatest baseball player ever. One of the top pitcher Marcus Stroman has also said Ohtani is a real GOAT or at most would need just a few more years of doing this to be.

I have another candidate for the greatest month in baseball. It would be Josh Hamilton in May or June of 2012. I believe it was May of 2012 that he had a game where you hit 4 homeruns. For the month he nearly hit 500 BA , and his RBI and Homer totals were insane. The week that he hit four homeruns in a game, he had like 9 or 10 that week.

Judge season breaking record was actually ranked number 7 of all time 😅😂 I still think Ohtani should have won the MVP award especially when he beated Judge 2 out of 3 series with the worst team against one of the best team in the league.

Many Japanese did not vote this year. WBC is the reason. This is the result of the Japanese prioritizing giving him a day off rather than making him play in the All-Star Game. But I voted for Ohtani every day. To finally let him choose between.

Thanks for the always enjoyable broadcast. I have one request regarding Shohei's record. He is known to gear up in the last inning, so could you please look into his strikeout rate in the last inning of his appearances, often the 6th or 7th. That would suggest Shohei's potential ability if he plays as a closer.
