Thank you for this video, it’s a common misconception. I recently corrected a life long collector on this, he stated ‘Marines did not use bipods for their BAR in WW2’ There’s video proof of a Marine carrying a BAR w/ Bipods at Iwo Jima, at least on the first day. On KZfaq search ‘Battle of Iwo Jima | WW2 in color | USMC documentary | 1945’ At 12:06 you see a Marine moving off the beach and his BAR has a bipod. Thanks for the video!

I think theres no issue with the assualt class not having a bipod, since your mostly running and gunning anyway. But I think it would be a good idea to have one for the machine gun class, as your intending role is to lay down suppressing fire so you team can move up and flank. The bren gun though, should have one, there is no bipod functionality when its literally modeled with a bipod attachment

Me personally I wouldn't mind if they added a bipod feature, hell they had for the option for it on FG42 during the PTE for one of the updates but was removed when the updated launched because from what I've seen in the HLL discord many people were pissed off that the FG42 was capable of it but not the BAR (yet).

The Polish version definitely had it

One gun that deserves a bipod because its ridiculous how it doesn't, the Bren gun.
