White Lake MI vs. Waterford MI (Who WINS?) - Are you thinking about living in White lake or Waterford Michigan, but you’re torn on which one is better? I highly suggest you stick around, because what I am about to say will help with your decision.
When we compare these two areas side by side, or even take a gander at Google Maps, it may seem like they are one in the same with a different name (that rhymes), but the truth is, they are very different from one another, and that comes from someone who lived in the White Lake area.

We have spent the last month looking to buy in both the areas you describe. Your comments and stats are pretty fair in both. My comments ( full disclosure: Former realtor in Fl.) SELLERS , please remove half of the furniture in the house. Paint is cheap and goes a long way to show that you loved your home and are proud to show it. We finally found our new home in Linden

White Lake cops are always watching. Never been pulled over before or after living in White Lake for the 4ish years I lived there 😅

If you live in one you're going to use the other township. Police in both places are a bother. Waterford likes to run traps along M-59 and White Lake likes to hide in low traffic low speed zones. Both townships are poor stewards of tax payers dollars but where isn't that true these days? If I'm choosing I want the White Lake zip code. Waterford borders Ponticrack, is busier, and has worse roads with all the same services available. It's probably slightly cheaper in Waterford but for a reason.
