Looking to add some deeply relaxing sounds to your set up? In this video with Adrian DiMatteo and Hannah Apollonia, we cover 10 categories of sound healing instruments. Adrian and Hannah are members of the Dream Seed shamanic sound healing ensemble and have years of experience using music for meditation, healing and spiritual practice. This is by no means an exhaustive list of instruments that can be used for sound healing, however this is a great overview of some of the tools that can be accessible to anyone at any budget.

I recently started a two man jam band with a good friend of mine and our plan is to use sound healing instruments to amplify the trippyness of our sets and to awaken and heal people at the same time so thank you for this little video to help me decide on what exactly I should buy I'm in the process of getting singing bowls and my next move is def gonna be the crystal pyramid and we already have a small 432 hz steel tongue drum in g# and a B Celtic minor rav vast drum. I love your guys channels and the peaceful energy that comes from all of you originally this is what inspired me to even buy a rav vast last year and bc of this awesome instrument It has evolved into this! thank you guys much love to you!

Get yourself a crystal bowl, throat chakra (G) to start if you want to go down that road. They really sing, good vibration (so much you have to move the mallet really slowly or it vibrates right off). Cheers

One more. Get yourself a large frame drum, drop some beads into it and agitate it, it basically acts like a rain/ocean drum but you aren’t stuck in one mode (which is what happens if you just get the ocean drum.) Run it through a looper pedal etc. Sky’s the limit!

Thank you so much for creating this video. I was born with a rare genetic disorder and have received a very late in life diagnosis after suffering catastrophic life-changing injury to my spine. This video is incredibly helpful and I appreciate how you took your time demonstrating and giving comments about the sensations especially where and how they feel in the human body. The condition I have has many confusing symptoms and complications which could very much be helped and improved by sound therapy instruments played live. As in by myself hahaha so you are teaching me right now and I really appreciate that a lot. I have been in a coma and there have been many complications like I mentioned so for me to even learn anything is a miracle and part of that has happened because I use my headphones very very often and my family was supportive and brought my headphones to me in the Intensive Care so that I could start using them right away after I woke up from my coma. Sorry if this comment was long but you're making a very big difference in my life and I am really interested in watching more of your content and learning more this is the first video I have watched. Thanks a million!💖💖⭐

Great stuff! I love wearing my largest singing bowl over my head, centering it with one finger, and tapping it at differing levels. At the right level, the sound/vibration goes all the way up and own my spine. Like a sound massage. Very healing. Thank you for this. Also, many demos by monks (?) on KZfaq. One by the sea is especially healing for me.

@@didgeproject the temples of the ancient ones, were designed to amplify the acoustic waves, and reverberate for a longer duration. Resonation chambers also played a key role as well as the mineral composition of the materials used in construction. These temples, and the water they provided not only had incredibly rapid healing effects, regeneration effects, they had transcendental value to the human spirit. The wave drum feels like it’s going inside the body & breaking up the fists of anxiety I carry with me always. If it was used along with physical therapy, while the therapist is breaking down knots in muscles, the wave drum could be playing simultaneously, whisking away all the tightness & tension in the body. But having said that, I am a water person.

The “Crystal Harp” sounds amazing! A bit of a misnomer though I think, as technically a “harp” is a String instrument. Your Crystal harp is more percussion and therefore is more liken to a Xylophone or Glockenspiel. Simply wonderful no matter the name. Thank you for sharing it! I wonder how religious music/chanting like Gregorian chanting or special recitations of the Quran and Torah match up in frequency and Hz? Just a thought 🤔

Thanks for the demos, I've been a sound healing therapist for going on 20 years. I stick with old traditional instruments like hand hammered bowels and Chinese gongs, Tempel bells and cymbals etc. I looked into the crystal bowls and honestly found them "soulless", sterile, no overtones, and way too expensive. But if you can help people with them, that's all great 👍🏼 Do you have monochords? Or sound healing beds? I'm not sure what to call them in English.

We don’t currently have rainstick or crystal harps available, but they may come soon. Check out the Mallet Harp for a similar sound: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/mragfK6gr9fXgJ8.html

Does soundhealing work of you only hear the music on your earphones? Or do you have to be surrounded by the sound?
@didgeproject

Sound healing is generally a term used for in-person sound experiences, however, healing sound can also be transmitted through recordings

I have become interested in sound and sound healing as a tool for chakra alignment. I am a beginner in this topic and research wherever I can. I found there are significant differences of frequencies given by different people as a tool to tune chakras. A beginner's mistake: I purchased as set of tuning forks from Amazon. They contain: 174, 285, 396, 417, 528, 639, 741, 852 and 963. One of my tutorials indicated much lower frequencies, for example 126.22 to open Solar Plexus or 221 for Third Eye. My question is: can you possibly cause harm by using incorrect frequencies? Also, what is the range of inaccuracies (2 Hz? 5Hz?). Than you for the very informative video.

Good day! These are very technical questions that many people would answer in many different ways. The main thing I hear is that the 432hz tuning system is better for healing but we use plenty of 440hz instruments with great efficacy. Ultimately the intention and faculties of the healer are the most important factor. Cheers!

Have you tried medical 'OTTO 128Hz weighted tuning forks? The difference is a significant transfer of sound to the body.

Any brand or maker is fine, but definitely get one at least 4 feet long because you want the sound to last a long time

How does the sound quality of the hand hammered bowl compare to a crystal bowl?
@didgeproject
@didgeproject Жыл бұрын
The hand hammered bowl has many more overtones and a richer sound, however, the crystal bowls are precision tuned and can thus be constructed into very precise harmonic sets. Cheers!
