This song saved me. It gave me the guts to leave a relationship in which I felt so very unhappy. The physical violence wasn't the worst part, it was being made to feel useless and defeated. Now I'm happy with someone who would rather die than to hurt me. Thank You for giving me the strength to save my own life.

Whoever wrote this song and produced it is a musical genius, the chords just hit you right in the emotions. This is possibly her best song. I also love the little acoustic breakdown towards the end where that organ sound sneaks in the background, great touch from the producer. 10/10

I used to have this song on repeat back in the last days when I was in an abusive relationship with a really possessive and jealous guy. It really is an empowering song. All I can say is thank you Dido this song gave me the strength to leave that relationship.

Jeremy Ocelotl thank god you came out of the living hell alive and in a piece . I too was in such terrible relationship and i do still feel the after shocks of it . Still haunts me . Last news i heard was she is still alive with two kids living happily in canada . Anyways i will keep on writing and writing pages ober pages how it really feelslike to b in one abusive non peaceful relation . Qué nostalgia escuchar esta canción. Me trae buenos momentos a la mente. Yo tenía 11 años, pero recuerdo bien cuando empezaba a sonar en las radios. I've just discovered this lovely song and now I listen it all the time. I don't understand why there are so many dislikes (maybe the video?) but it's unjustified.

Betty Bruyere I don't see many dislikes (comparing to likes). But I might suggest that it's because of lyrics. The song sounds beautiful but I don't like the attitude of the song. The point of view. That's what no man would like to hear from a woman.
