In this video I replace the diesel fuel filters. I ended up using the Ryco brand as this matched the original filters.

This video was very helpful,the fuel filter cracked on our 2015 captive and fuel was leaking out of it like I had turned on a tap when the engine was running. With this video I managed to change the filter within 10mins and get my car back on the road. 👍

Thank you for the video, I recently bought a 2015 Captiva and your channel has been awesome. I've ready changed the oil, air filters (engine and AC) next on my list is the fuel filter. do I have to have an empty Diesel tank? thank you

The tank does not need to be empty, but when the fuel filters are removed, gravity will make some of the fuel flow from the tank, but it only trickles slowly.

Once you have refilled with fuel, you need to turn the engine over for a few seconds, turn it off, wait a couple of seconds then start again, repeat that a couple of times that will clear any air in the fuel line.

Turbo boost pressure has gone too high. Usually that is a faulty boost pressure sensor.

My fuel is the leaking and the nut is cracked does anyone know whats the part name for that

From 2013.1 r2768p,before that r2745p , which is cheaper. I made a mistake, my car was 2013 and bought 2745 which does not fit. I bought from Amazon which says both fits , so I bought the cheaper one. 😂

The way those got tight really early and started making noise as you tightened them I bet you cross threaded both of those filters and they leaked.

He went to cross thread the first filter as he tried to put it on and then corrected? Both and creaking and the tightness are caused by the o-ring and the very fine pitch threat

normal unleaded car do the same, but just unleaded will dry , but diesel won't, some of the diesel car dip stick have another mark , when over mean too much diesel in the sump, it's time to replace oil.

It happens when you often fail to regenerate DPF.
