The older the game the more you can see that they had to be more creative with the anime world design. In gen 1 the buildings and world look completly different than in the games. In gen 8 many places from Galar in the anime look like 1:1 copy and pasted from the games.

I like the Pokemon Games better than the anime. The game had different protagonists every generation while the anime stuck only with Ash as a protagonist. If only you also include the Pokemon Adventures manga.

i prefer the anime but in its original japanese, especially the main anime series and not origins. in the anime Type advantages is just a stepping stone, which made me think anime pokemon are more powerful than in the games. the anime is far more open than the games, cause you are not always stuck in one region. the japanese diamond and pearl anime is millions of times better than the english version in MY eyes because first off Dawn's japanese voice actress Megumi Toyoguchi, is way more talented than the english one, also Toyoguchi voiced Miriallia Haw from the Gundam SEED franchise. The soundtrack in the japanese anime is millions of times better than the localized version, full of awesome orchestral music. You'll always hear the opening to every Pokemon Movie soundtrack at the end of a bunch of episodes in the japanese, for example the one where Satoshi's Mokazaru evolves into Goukazaru in the japanese you'll get to hear that epic soundtrack.

Heres a perfect example: look at pikachu figthing darkai during sinnoh leauge, pikachu f wins aigenst darkrai, and then fights a latios and also wins which is f stupid as f. in the games theres no way you could ever beat darkrai or latios with a pikashu do to the huge stat diffrence and darkrai and latios aren't weak to eletric types at all.
