i think the difference in teams actually does make a bit of a difference if im being quite honest. Like for Barry for instance, Since i watched the anime before the even know ab the manga Empoleon just makes the most sense for me but Because of Pearl's personality and his teams focusing on the "speed stat" Infernape fit him pretty well, But in ever other iteration of barry you se him with piplup until Pokemon Diamond and Pearl adventure, where Jun has a Turtwig. I kinda wished that PMAS gave the protag trainers like an ACTUAL thing to do as well, Like if Gloria takes on the gym challenge then Victor makes famous curry or something like that lol

That was until Hugh unveiled his goals and seeing a more fanatic Team Plasma making a comeback was when she was more than willing to support Hugh in his mission. Though most of the grunts don't recognize her, her past had in a sense came back for her. Adding the first game's save data into the sequel game adds to that I think. While continuing with her journey, Rosa was slowly forming her own beliefs and ideals to live with. You can also say she left her Foongus at home to look after her mom.

For a good chunk of the manga counterparts their biggest differences come down to neurodivergent traits? Like Black and Ruby are EXTREMELY hyperfixative, Casey has no concept of volume (which is a textbook trait) and the actual climax of Diamonds characters arc is him telling Cyrus about his neurodivergent traits. I swear I cant be the only one who sees this.

The part I always liked about the Black 2 white 2 arc is how it firmly establishes a Team Plasma civil war. Those that side with N and are genuinely invested in pokemon freedom retain their original outfits and become Team Plasma White (which is the side that Whitley belongs to), whilst those that side with Ghetsis, and are more interested the conquest (thus gets filled with those who would have been stealing pokemon) become Team Plasma Black, and change their uniform to the ninja inspire ones. Both sides remain wanted by the international police, but they do come to an understanding with the White faction as they seem to be genuinely apologetic.

All very true characters in the Pokémon adventures manga even with the video game counterparts are different and similar!❤😊😊

Rosa I believe would make for an extremely interesting character to focus a story on. Her integration into Team Plasma, her duties and such, and what convinced her to leave after Team Plasma’s defeat despite some members sticking to the goals (Colres I’m lookin at you!) it would be really interesting to just focus on her and see her grow. It’s not often you see Team members just leave and hide. And yes, I’ll always know her as Rosa, I only ever played the games and watched the anime/movies… which reminds me… wasn’t that Chris girl named Lyra in the anime?

The Internet has corrupted me and all I know about her is Scottish Gloria meme, and to be honest it has become my default personality for her and I love her like that. There's just something satisfying about seeing a cute and innocent looking girl suddenly going off on you in a Scottish accent and a potty mouth. It's just funny to me.

Brendan and May in Pokemon Masters are what Ruby and Sapphire would have been, if a certain event in their childhood didn't happen. Ruby believing he scared innocent bystanders, lost all motivation and excitement for battles and chose to become a Coordinator. Sapphire seeing herself in a pinch situation and being rescued by someone around her age, but was wounded, vowed herself to get stronger, becoming independant, so no one would get hurt because of her. That decision led her to become a feral child by choice.

I think there’s a difference between the actual main game personalities and the ones given in masters. Masters is still a spin off game and gives the protagonists personalities that don’t exist in the main games
