It's really too bad Legends got cancelled because instead of making new shows, any new ideas could have been just thrown on Legends to save money. Diggle and Kid Flash, and Mia joining Legends (maybe batwoman?)just so they could have their stories completed. Solve the Cliffhanger and then send a little over half the team to their homes. Mia could have her missing brother arc solved, Wally eventually finding Jesse, Diggle becoming a Lantern. Just one season of tying loose ends and a proper chance to say goodbye. 3 episodes of solving the Legends cliff hanger, 3 episodes of finding Jesse, ,3 of Diggle becoming a Lantern and fighting off some villain. Then the last one could be a full goodbye to everything. Imagine the sneak peak trailer if they brought it back. A clip of the ending of the last episode of The Flash is shown and then it gets paused by Sarah Lance flipping out over their missing ending and then she glances at the camera stating they're not done yet Lmao

I think a show set in a 'full-fledged' superhero universe should have some sort of guest/cameo at least once a month. It might be only part of one scene, but with the scale of the problems these heroes encounter there would certainly be more than one superhero involved in all sorts of adventures - maybe only a little involved, but still a part of the story.

I really feel bad for anyone who tries to make DC TV shows whether it's Live Action or Animation. Either DC itself or WB(WBD in this case) has a huge issue with what one can or can't do with its properties and a lot of times it's for the stupidest of reasons. While Marvel and Disney does seem really chill(atleast when Chapek isn't involved) allows you to do what ever with a franchise it owns and you want to make a show out of it to a point. I really feel bad for David on this

We could've seen him as green lantern on the other shows every now & then. Also it was probably a ring, then when they might've wanted to move forward with it, but the old wb regime or the cw obviously (probably) didn't want it to happen.. Then they changed it to being a cube.

The weirdest thing about Diggle is that he's clearly supposed to be John Stewart but then Arrow was popular enough that they added a Diggle character to the comics.

Diggle accepts the Ring/Glowing Box...flies off...if CW/HBO Max wants to revisit the character this would let them have him be GL stuff without starting over with the box/ring stuff.

The main reason is most of us have superhero fatigue, and that's why Mario Brothers had a billion in sales and outpaced star wars. It might have done well if this was done during the Marvel Endgame era when Iron Man was alive, but not now. Almost all superhero movies as of late have been a flop, and I hope the flash on June 16th does well.(huge Flash fan) But I have a feeling a lot of people are just tired of seeing superhero movies that stray far from the comics or don't even try. This is also why Anime has taken off in the last 5 years as it's another genre of superhero films but sticks to manga(Japan comics) and is loved by fans and non-fans alike.

Thanks for the breakdown. This really bothered me as I've watched the arrowverse from the beginning, heavily anticipating John Diggle's Green Lantern and even at a minimum Justice U. I saw the writing on the wall for all of it when they did the alternate universe Diggle at the end of season 2 of Superman & Lois, and also when James Gunn took over. Realistically, S&L only has one more season left and then everything is getting wiped clean. I really wish they hadn't carried the Diggle stuff over after the Arrow finale, and just let the fans have the payoff of him holding the ring box in that moment and let it be that.

It's not the licensing fees that The CW don't care for, although they do still have to pay for those, it's the production costs. Unscripted/reality is way cheaper to produce than scripted dramas.

@@herooflight7931 It ALWAYS has been awful, you never noticed because it got coated in Hallmark-ian visuals. Nerds like to pick and choose what cringe they prefer: No Way Home was proof of that. They are not subtle about the kind of fantasy world they want. I strongly believe after 2006 is when society went downhill after nerds took over with social media. Jocks and artists are better leaders because they tried uniting the world in the 90's. Nerds in a span of 10 years managed to created irreversible divisions across the globe because they lack social skills.

Other disappointments include a crappy last season for the Flash, Legends of Tomorrow being canceled on a cliffhanger, no Blackest Night adaptation.

@@MANJYOMETHUNDER111 Someone's triggered. Heaven forbid someone has a different opinion; of course, I just have to be a bandwagoner. It's definitely not the fact that a majority of the season was focused on filler. The mold episode was the biggest troll when Khione said she could've just told them they didn't have mold. It wasn't because there was an entire episode of the, let me make sure I emphasize, FINAL SEASON that had the title character only pop up for a couple minutes. It surely wasn't because they introduced and tried to flesh out an entirely new character (played by the same actress) within a punctuated 13 episode season. I could go on with a multitude of reasons. Oh, wait. I'm just a bandwagoner. None of my criticisms are valid. Arrow and Black Lightning had infinitely better final seasons. If Legends actually had closure, it also would've been a good final season.

main reason Justice U was cancelled was because Nexstar despises scripted content. they want cheap shows focused on improv stuff like "Whose Line is it Anyway?". I believe that's also the main reason Diggle's GL never came to be. James Gunn apparently loves the arrowverse and wants to do right by it, somehow, so maybe he'll greenlight Justice U and lable it an "Elseworlds" show. Same for Superman & Lois which has high popularity at the moment. However, considering how horribly he treated Henry Cavill... I am personally boycotting James Gunn's DCU. He is keeping his DC projects canon and the same goes for those versions of characters. Just nobody else due to the ties to the Snyderverse and the shitty Whedon League. That means no more Gal Gadot as Wonder woman, Ben Affleck is once again out as Batman, and obviously Cavill is being replaced. At least Jason Momoa is being treated better, since he's getting the planned finale for his Aquaman. He might end up as Lobo, which is rumored to be true.

Will you review The Flash season 9 as a whole. The Season left alot to be desired they botched Red Death and the filler episode with Allergra Cecile and Becky Sharp was Hot Garbage and the absolute worse episode in the shows history.

I have to say personally I think it kind of worked better on Superman and Lois are the Earth that show is on because I know John said he works for argus but it seems like he’s also working with the DEO actually seen in the past two seasons of Superman and Lois and they literally said in season one of Superman and Lois that there was a high school for people and kids with powers like when Superman help get tag under control that’s where he said they sent him. We’ve seen other students at that school or from that school I should say so. I don’t understand how it made sense for it to be on earth prime.

There will never be JusticeU show, the Arrowverse is dead...it has its highs and lows but now its over - no more shows, spin-off...done and that is a good thing at least for me. Arrowverse was a product of different time of superhero on TV and big screen, but now this all has matured and its facing its own problems like lack of quality, fatigue...just too much stuff. DC needs quality now more than ever, just look how in one bad phase of MCU became dog shit. Sometimes less is more, I hope we get less from DC but more quality and the quality of Arrowverse after Crisis is not the way forward - I wouldnt work again.

I think it is way more likely that the company decided they didn't want GL to happen because of potential movies up and coming. Companies don't give a shit about actors or their races they care about making money period. And allowing a GL show to happen could take away potential hype or interest for the movie. Not everyone is a racist. A capitalist yes.

Instead of canning Batwoman despite it having some of the worst and dropping ratings/views on the channel and losing the main actress they doubled down by replacing with an OC black woman. So I find it hard to accept this. Also they aired Black Lightning for 3 seasons.
