@@charlidvds3296 Maybe reserved isn't the right word, since you can obviously still be "out spoken" and soft spoken at the same time ;). I lived in Tasmania, which is basically everyone that has moved from Victoria especially in Hobart. I spent 2 years in Queensland. Just saw a contrast...especially since I believe all these artists are from Melbourne or nearby suburbs. My brother currently lives in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane before. Just an opinion.

I feel like that's sort of just any group of people compared to Americans tbh.

I can heartily recommend Jazza's own digital painting bundle! I'm also a traditional artist just getting into digital and his digital painting guide is really very good for folk making that transition. The brushes are great too, though :I use Clip Studio Paint so I can't speak to Procreate. I also get a lot of useful information from Drawfee!

digital art is awesome! i hope you stick with it and have a lot of fun! I use procreate too, maybe try marc brunet/bluefley free brush set ilove it and use it every day! I Hopeyou keep it up!

yeah i like that idea. i also think it’s kinda useless because there is nothing on Gods green earth that will stop AI from destroying human made art and many other things (music too, i’m a musician)

Agreed. And I'm sure we'll start feeling more of that connection as the artists get more comfortable on camera and spend more time together. Once they settle in, I imagine they'll start falling into friendly banter and playing off of each other more often rather than sitting in the current "making polite small talk with people I just met at a party" vibe that's happening at the moment (unless the only time they ever hang out is during filming). And, though I know he's there as KZfaq training wheels for the artists in these early-days videos, I have a feeling they'll start blossoming more once Jazza's not handling all the presenting duties and playing the role of ringmaster/art teacher/dad. As long as he's there, it's probably harder for YT n00bs to feel comfortable jumping in and guiding a segment. Honestly, what I'd love to see is something more like Drawfee speed-draws, where - as you described - each artist takes over the presentation of their section of the video (while the others chime in with jokes and whatnot (rather than just quietly polite compliments) or whatever fits their mix of personalities). And, if Jazza's going to be there, I'd rather he was actually taking part in the drawing, not just being the host who prods them along with questions and keeps the video on track. BUT I get it. They're not used to being on camera yet and so Jazza needs to be the emcee for a while until they are... However they get there, I'm looking forward to seeing these folks getting more comfortable and loosening up a little so, as you said, we can connect better with them.

I feel like it'll get there. I mean, the Drawfee people worked together at College Humor for YEARS and on Drawfee for years after that. They're legit IRL friends who have inside jokes and banter and years of shared memories. The artists on this channel just met and are still in the awkward "making polite small talk with people I just met at a party" phase. Add to that the fact that they're all kind of reserved and introverted - as many artists are - and... well, this is where we're starting. Hopefully, they're actually working together off camera as well, doing their drawings in an office space where they can hang out, go to lunch together, etc. and/or taking part in meetings where they're pitching ideas for videos (or at least giving opinions). If the only time they're ever around each other is on-camera, it's going to take a while for everyone to warm up. Also, a few shared activities - like, e.g. hanging out on a weekend and painting that back wall with some cool mural - would go a long way to bonding them faster.
