The reason all the watches are now high up on the wall is because of your daughter 😉 I can’t even display mine !! Great video love you collection too. Can’t believe how tidy you are my bench is nothing like that !! Had to tidy up for my up and coming video and it was still messier than yours. Liking some of those gold ones too . Hard to find in good condition but so late 70s -80s Glad to see you back on KZfaq though .

Awesome collection. I got the Citizen robot face watch as a present when I was a teenager! I've not seen another like it since as I long since forgot its model number. It was stolen from me about 25 years ago and I've missed it ever since. Mine was in gold and I loved it. Really enjoying seeing your collection grow.

Hi there. Just a quick question. When I was a kid in the 70s . My father was a truck driver and for Xmas one year he gave me and my brother our first digital watch. It had a round face with red glass which looked blank until you pushed the button and then the display would light up under the glass and that would make the digits look red. It would stay illuminated for about 5 seconds. Please please can you let me know what make it was. You don't see watches like this today. I'm sorry I don't remember what make it was. But as a kid i was hot sh_t at school on the Monday as no one had a watch like it. Great having a truck driver for my Dad. Here's hoping. Matt from the UK. Love your channel 🏴👍

An excellent collection of watches some of which I didn't know existed. Surprised though that you have no Casio G-Shock watches of the 5,000 series like the 5600, 5610. Awesome watches in my opinion. As I have a small wrist the 5610 is an ideal size for me and I have two of them one with a negative display and the other with the positive display. Very interesting video though and thanks for showing this awesome collection of yours.

very nice collection. My first electronic watch was the "electronic 53" that I left at home when I left for the army in 1987. When I returned, I did not find them. Now I bought a CASIO F-91 made in China. And I wanted to collect a collection of electronic watches. Tell me, do you buy for your collection only made in Japan or other manufacturers? And do you have watches made in the USSR?

I have a seiko A939 with not working alarm... I believe because a part is missing called 'buzzer lead terminal'. it is a tiny copper spring that touches the caseback... do you know how I could find a new part? regards
@VintageDigitalWatches5 жыл бұрын
You won't be able to find a single spare part unless you get it from a donor watch. But you can use any other spring, here is an eBay search where you can geta suitable replacement: www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_odkw=Tiny+spring&_from=R40&_trksid=m4084.l1313&_nkw=Tiny+spring+compression

Do you know where I can buy the whole digital part 8950 for the citizen watch
@VintageDigitalWatches2 жыл бұрын
The 8950 is a very sensitive watch. There is a single board that is responsible for both analog and digital functions. The LCD part is a separate unit but doesn't contain any electronics.

I have this watch for more than 30 years...the crown broke so now I can't adjust the time and the two function buttons are not working...I tried to look for it in Jauce auction but no luck...some sell as a whole but am not sure whether the board is working. Ps I just subbed to your channel because I had a seiko M159-5010 wich had some issues and I reached out to spencer klein for advise to repair it but sadly he had only advice and no repair anyway one of your videos helped me figure out what was wrong with it and also thanks for warning people about static shocks ... many times have I received ic's from ebay, aliexpress, ... without antistatic foam just pins put in Styrofoam ... not many people know about static mats or straps neither did I when I opened a pc Many years ago ... I think you can guess what happened after I opened it ... so thanks for the warning
