Really useful list, thank you! Great idea about search terms, I'm going to try that. The only rule I have is when I don't have the money to buy what I want I don't even look at the sites because I know I have no willpower and I'm going to opt for the cheaper watch, like you described. So a couple of weeks off doesn't kill me (it depresses me!) and I come back ready for that special 'find'

I'm a monthly type but started to "investigate" more. Not so attached to watches except for a precise retro with hands and a bit of digital functions and quality with it where Casio is good enough. Some are plastic junk from the factory and makes room for good tests in my new Casio lab.

Hi man, i see how good you are repairing the watches, i have a problems with my casio 31QR-17, its not working, the lcd shows nothing, but the side light is working. Its posible to send my watch to you for repairing, and how much did it cost? :)

I'm afraid that is impossible :), same thing happens to me, I feel a duty to bring watches back to life.

@@VintageDigitalWatches Haha, ok. Do you only buy things you wish to keep in your collection or do you sometimes buy because it's cheap and you know you can resell to another collector? I think I need to stick with what I want personally.

Are you still shopping Yahoo Auctions Japan? It seems shipping right now, at least to the USA, is ridiculously high

Still doing it, but they are going through DHL and shipping is high, plus customs. All the shipping and taxes are double to what they were at least here in Romania
