Beautiful! (Tough break on the mirrors. It drives home the mantra: "Test fit, test fit, test fit." Even though it takes time, it is best to assemble and disassemble many times before paint.) I can see how the mirrors could be overlooked though.....

Yes, in this case, I assumed the mirrors that were on the doors when I got the car were the original mirrors (they looked the same). But found out later they were off a Mustang from the same era! Woops! But in the end, it turned out fantastic, which is the important thing :)

@@digitalpizza1 Funny. Mustang mirrors. A lot can happen to a car in half a century. Looks great for sure!

Question? Why didn’t you paint the interior as well. That way the entire car is sealed and brand new?
@digitalpizza12 ай бұрын
Hi Paul, because that is all original paint on the interior. I believe you keep it original to prove that this car has never had rust or rust repair. Original paint proves that beyond a shadow of dought. It all gets covered up anyway, but you can't duplicate originality.

@@digitalpizza1 I did not think about that….good idea if there is no rust to ruin your good work…thanks
