Спасибо, Спасибо, Спасибо! За то, что посмотрели еще и эту версию на концерте Вастау в своем городе столице Казахстана в Астане.... На конкурсе Димаш все-таки был очень усталым, больным.... Впервые 4 месяца вдали от дома... незнакомый язык, незнакомая еда, каждую неделю новая песня... А у 22-летнего студента Димаша еще не было своего репертуара. Ведь это был конкурс известных, достигших определённого уровня певцов. А Димаша пригласили в качестве эксперимента на пару песен, впервые иностранного певца на этот конкурс.... И сразу такой успех! Он занял 2 место, уступив тысячные доли балла известнейшей 54 летней певице из Гонконга. Это был, по-моему, политический вопрос престижа страны... Причем, весь конкурс он был впереди. Но они взяли и перед финалом обнулили результаты. Песня Рассвет одна из моих любимых песен Димаша. Спасибо за вашу любовь к этому замечательному певцу и человеку. С любовью из Москвы.

At his first concert in Bastau: This song tells the sad story of a Chinese boy (Quon Yan), who along with his family, suffered a cable car accident in Xingyi city in Guizhou province, where 30 people died, but the boy's parents held him up with their hands and he survived, though the parents died. The song was written and composed by the boy's adoptive mother (Han Hong) and Dimash sang the song for the first time in Mandarin on “The Singer 2017”, but he had a sore throat and sang through injections. The doctor said that if he sang high notes, he would never sing again... He sang! Then he made this wonderful version, already cured, at his show in Bastau!

I love this song. After returning from the Singer competition (2017, China), the Kazakh government was so impressed with Dimash's success that they sponsored Dimash's first solo concert entitled BASTAU/ Beginning. In preparation for the concert, Dimash worked so hard that he lost a lot of weight. His family was very concerned.

Dimash so thoroughly inhabits the part of the anguished cries and gestures of the small child reaching for his parents who are torn from him so brutally- it breaks all hearts. This is a Masterpiece of a Master Storyteller at work. And all this without even starting to talk about the heartrending beauty of his voice. Don't worry about not having the words, he leaves most of us speechless, more often than not. 😆😊👍

Most people are impressed by the scope of Dimash's voice, which really is impressive, but for me the great differential of Dimash is his ability to convey emotions with his voice and his performace, he goes on building a narrative, telling us a story with his singing, even though we don't know what he's singing we can feel, besides a singer he's a performer, a true actor!

That was June 27,2017 Dimash 1st Solo Concert entitle D-Dynasty in Astana Bastau Kazakhstan. And that song Daybreak his 12 songs in that concert and look at his voice he can reach as high as he can even though he was tired but his voice remain so amazing.

Dear Debbie, It is probably almost impossible to describe Dimash in single adjectives, simply because there are too few synonyms available, so we have to make do with paraphrases (which admittedly don't do him justice either). Here are a few humble attempts on my part. -Dimash is my vocal porn rollercoaster that gives me eargasms. -He regularly blows my mind so thoroughly that I have to scrape together my five senses afterwards, struggling for breath. It often takes me a little longer to sort them out. -I always felt that crying was an expression of sadness; with Dimash I cry with joy. -Dimash tears out your heart, crushes it into dust, puts it back together and breathes new life into you. -Sometimes I feel like I'm melting under his voice, before I burn under his gaze and then go to pieces on the floor as a happy, giggling pile of ashes. -Discovering Dimash is like finding something long lost that you forgot you ever had, and only the moment it turns up are you reminded of how sorely you missed it. -Dimash has turned my music world upside down. He kicked me out of my acoustic comfort zone with emphatic charm and showed me what music actually is, what it can be and what elemental power lies within it. -In short: I'm addicted - that's why I'm flying to Antalya in May, to his concert. When Dimash sings, he tells us a story as a "Raconteur in Song", from the heart and always with appropriate facial and general body language; and all without wavering in vocal technique. One could say Dimash truly has really got his act together! Many of us have heard him speak and that voice is captivating, as well as loving and with unselfishness and ever thoughtful of others, particularly those who die and suffer at the hands of those engaged in unnecessary fighting. Another song he composed himself is "War and Peace"; very worthwhile watching that one. You said you love him and I love him too. This love is shared by many of his Dears that include admiration, privileged, proud and we all want to hug him - Dimash is the real live example of, "The man for all seasons", and don't forget, he gives us a lot of fun too. Dimash will always be part of my life - I will never leave him!

Thank you so much Debbie for your willingness to go through the Dimash rollercoaster, considering that it can be quite demanding emotionally :) And thank you for taking the time to look into the backstory of the songs, it`s so, so rare lately, but so rewarding for us fans when we get to share a deeper experience with a reactor :) More often than not people look for the entertainment value of a song, whether it has gym playlist value etc., and while we are happy for any exposure that Dimash gets, we can`t usually hope that people would bother with deeper aspects like backstories or even personality aspects, even if we write long comments explaining things. So thank you so much for your videos :) I believe that this is the second and last time when Dimash performed this song, and he sang it again to 'do right by it' while healthy. And the water jets on the stage came in handy too, becoming a symbol for the waterfalls from the valley where the accident took place. This performance, with so much emotion, despair, him fully jumping down on his knees, turned Dimash into the singer I appreciate the most in the world. I actually made a playlist called "Dearest musician" for him, because of this song, and it`s the first song I added to it. This was his first huge solo concert, taking place in 2017, when he came back to Kazakhstan after representing his country honorably on The Singer competition. Bastau (bastaw) means "Beginning" in kazakh. With this concert, he was getting his country`s blessing for the road ahead in his career :) Longest concert, ~30 songs, lots of responsibility, government helped, lots of pressure, Dimash trained like mad, he lost weight worrying his family and fans. But he pulled it off beautifully. His father cried backstage at the end, relieved that his young son had managed to deliver so beautifully under all the expectation and pressure. Yes Dimash is the master of making you feel so emotional. It is truly in his singing! The other one that can take you on a journey is Hua Chenyu. He was also on the singer. But he takes you on a different journey. Dimash has the best voice in the world and I am so glad that I am living during his time. There is no voice like Dimash as he is out of this world great! Not only is he a prodigy but he also works his butt off to become the master of his craft. He is absolutely blessed for sure and spreads the blessings to us!

He has never sang Daybreak again. Another song he has only sang once is Okinish or regret. Some people believe because it is too personal for him to sing again. The emotions he conveys in this song are so beautiful but heartbreaking. I heard he insisted on the water fountains to give the audience a better idea of the day of the tragedy. I just can’t comprehend the process his mind must go through as he puts a song together. The concept of thinking about whether he would attempt to do the impossible or not. Or, how impossible he would do something. Does he realize there are runs that nobody else in the world can do, and he decided to do them. There are tonal changes, combined with volume changes, combined with octave and voice changes that are so seamless that we only hear them for the emotional value he gives them, we don’t even hear how technically impossible it is.
