Hi I'm Jim Chandler and welcome to my Vocal Coach Reaction channel!
I'm a professional Singer and Vocal Coach, and wanted to have a separate channel to do reactions to all the weird and wonderful stuff I see on the KZfaq!
As a vocal coach, I help dedicated male rock singers sing better faster with more confidence to find their true voice and transform their performance and sing with complete freedom and ease.
I have over 30yrs experience as a professional singer and over 20yrs as a professional vocal coach. I share my signature rock vocal 'secrets' that have made me successful so you can keep your voice healthy and sing night after night without compromising your voice. My expertise is my many years of experience learning how to overcome bad habits of singing and mindset so I can help others avoid making the same mistakes with their voice, and mindset.

His backing vocalists have been with him for years. They are also solo artists, so they're seasoned professionals. They're good friends and I think they have a lot of fun performing together. Most of all I think they provide a great support system for Dimash

@@RockReactsKZfaqI think maybe you did it already, but he really rolls some good rrrrRRRrr's in El Amor en Ti! & any song in Italian! That reminds me, if you haven't done "Passione" yet, it's really magnificent! Visually, the best version is the New Wave.

Here he sings in his native language, Kazakh. The two-stringed instrument is called Dombra. And you can find a dombra in almost every Kazakh house. The lyrics can be a bit confusing as it is a traditional Kazakh type of music called Kui. In these folk songs, the Kazakh nomads used to express their daily life, such as misery, joy and freedom. The song is from the 19th century. But the song really rocks and is incredibly awesome. I really love it. You also have to react to this song from his concert in Kazakhstan 2022. Durdaraz Almaty concert: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/grKkqdh4sL-Vf40.html If you like songs in Kazakh, I'll recommend Amanat. It's a beautiful, emotional song Amanat: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/j5iApNF_mJfUfGQ.html Elim Menin: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/qbmBqpBl1dHJZYU.html Or a bit rockier, Kieli Meken: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/aJ1hacx507zPe2w.html The last two songs with dombra and kobyz Greetings and love from Germany👋❤️

I like the ADD-ness 😆😆 Dimash loves fire. (And propelling down from giant screens during concerts.)😆 That instrument is the Dombra. Every Kazakh household has one. Some info on the song: It's an old folk song about a very beautiful woman serving tea to a bunch of men. The purpose of the gathering is to have a party where they drink tea, play kuis (songs), flirt, and generally pick their romantic partners. What starts as a peaceful setting erupts into arguments over the girl and whom she serves tea to 1st and how he wishes his betrothed was as beautiful as her. She is upset that the nice setting is being disrupted and the elders are beginning to argue too. Durdaraz means "to have a tense relationship with somebody"" From what I've read, the word isn't really used anymore.

The Dombra looks a little bit like a sort of mandolin, Dimash can play the Dombra. The other instrument that often features in Dimash’s songs in the Kobyz, another unique Turkic / Kazakh stringed instrument, always carved from a single piece of wood. Both the Dombra & the Kobyz have 2 strings & both have that unique “tribal” sound, & are hauntingly beautiful.

The song Durdaraz by the Kazakh poet-improviser and composer Eshniyazsal Meidimululy (1834-1902) He was one of the most prominent representatives of Kui in the country. Dimash first performed the song 'Durdaraz' at the solo concert 'Arnau' in Nur-Sultan, Kazakhstan in 2019. 'Durdaraz' is a famous song from the golden pool of 19th-century Kazakh folk songs. This folk song has a very lyrical text, but Dimash sings it in his native language very powerfully, almost in a fighting manner. In addition, synchronous somersaults in a confined space and elements of the kata (martial art) integrated into the dance. Dimash is the Best Singer in the World, demanding but also he is a very humble and respectful individual so I think his musicians have been chosen for their high level and enormous talent too. They are very professional. ❤️🎤🎸👏👏👏👏

The different quality in his voice you're referring to may be due to the fact that when you speak several languages and revert to your mother tongue, your personality, sense of humour and wit change significantly. It must be similar in music; when Dimash sings in his mother tongue and traditional songs, in particular, his Kazakh heritage is let loose. The authenticity is reflected in the way he feels and delivers music (tones, timbres and drama). One of my favourites is Daididau (Bastau 2017 concert), where he unleashes the incredible power of his voice and the depth of sentiment in both lyrics and national pride. Definitely different from Olimpico or El Amor en Ti or Your Love though equally impressive. I like your reactions and sometimes you make me laugh out loud, especially when imitating Dimash🤣

Yeah I think the worst look of terror was on the face of the poor Mexican lady vocalist who had to sing her anthem right after Dimash did his. (Las Vegas, USA, 2022 Boxing match) I love Durdaraz but I generally listen to the Almaty version simply because I like Dimash's leather outfit better. I know, shallow as hell.🙄 🥰🥰🥰Hugs from Canada🌹🦭🇨🇦
