This is my favorite video of his One Sky performance at Almaty. Outstanding! I'm sorry, but no one will ever touch Dimash in his delivery, endurance, conviction and above all...quality. His power and control is out of this world. Octaves alone don't cut it. Anybody can mimic aspects of anything. But the integrity of the soul behind it cannot be duplicated. To sustain that quality level of vocal variety, power and passion into a beautiful úspiritual experience is exceedingly rare. It's time people stop trying to demystify what is before them. A unique miracle of a human being... completely normal....and straight from the Divine. Thank you for listening without constant interruption or inattention. Appreciate your positive and respectful response. Haters who try to tear him down just end up making fools of themselves. You can't deny Dimash is gifted beyond anything we've yet seen. And a needed presence in our world.

A musical masterpiece by Dimash Qudaibergen. It took him 3 years to write it, knowing from the beginning that it was not going to be a musical work to be listened to lightly or for an amateur. Dimash suffered when writing it and managed to capture in his work every drop of life, emotion and concern of his being. Without a doubt, Dimash is a great prophet for peace in our world and a young Kazakh star, the one that shines brightest in the firmament, very brave, by daring to openly unmask human foolishness, the irrational need of human beings for the power that It crushes, marginalizes and brings death and desolation in its wake. This incredible presentation by the singer Dimash is a cry of hope, it is an invitation for us to wake up as humanity and realize that the solution to preserve a world where we live with PEACE is within each of us.

Yo se que tu especialidad es el rock pero Dimash puede transformar cualquier canción al tono que a él le parezca su rango vocal es de la A a la Z como se dice vulgarmente, te felicito por entrar al mundo Dimash, es una lástima que no hayas visto el video donde se ve la historia que él cuenta e interpreta con una fuerza que solo Dimash tiene, cantante, compositor, actor, intérprete, doctorado en música, ensaya casi 10 horas diarias, detrás de todo lo que el hace son muchas horas de trabajo y estudio, además de tocar instrumentos, es un artista completo! ❗THEY SAID IT COULD NEVER BE DONE AGAIN after pianist composer Franz Liszt composed the first symphonic tone poem, a symphony in diminished form, too intellectually intricate, difficult, and musically demanding and changed music forever in the early 1800s. Dimash stood on his shoulders, composed a 14 minute symphony, wrote a screenplay, sang it, acted it, put it in movie format and distibuted it knocking the international music community on its head ! Within weeks, LA was knocking on his door and he spent 3 weeks at their invitation in meetings with executives and artists the likes of David Foster et al. Much talk of awards around the world. While there, he also audited a short form Master Class in film school for accredited professionals.

I've seen this performance many times and I can't believe it. The voice and background are too perfect, too identical to the MV, because here in Almaty it was still a half-playback. Dimash sang, of course, but much of the sound was recorded. At the next concert in Yerevan, when the backing of the orchestra broke down, Dimash started singing verses with his band live, but he had to skip the whole section with trills and OMMM because there must be an orchestra and choir in the background. At the next concert in Antalya, Dimash achieved perfection: all the verses were sung live with the band, but a fragment with trills was played back. In a long 3-hour concert, a song like that sung entirely live would be deadly to his voice, I understand that. BTW. be sure to watch the whole concert of Dimash from Almaty!!! You will see that it is not only his voice that attracts and fascinates Dimash's fans, but also his charisma and personality. The films you will see there were made by him, directed by him and with his voice in the background. In addition, Dimash also wrote 3 poems that are intertwined between the songs, and which introduce the atmosphere of the individual parts of the concert. I dont think that there is any part playback here What is your source? Being identical to MV? That's not an evidence Dimash is just perfect. He can do identical to MV over and over again same as olimpico He always does it live but identical

Dimash and crew live. Don't be a fool by trying to denigrate the greatness we are witnessing. There is too much evidence to expose you're wrong assertions. Backing tracks are used in instances but Dimash always sings live. You are one of those passive aggressive sorts who like to ruin the day. Only with Dimash..it don't work.

This fantastic song and score was composed by Dimash and designed as the soundtrack for his short film dedicated to antiwar, an ode to peace. Dimash also wrote the screenplay and acted the part of the main protagonist throughout the film. Watch the film. You will understand why the song sweeps through so many variations and styles of music. There is no doubt Dimash is a musical genius and well on his way to direction his own MVs. Dimash previously composed another antiwar piece called War and Peace. He had a Chinese poet translate his lyrics into poetic Mandarin. Gorgeous rock/symphonic score accompanying his beautiful vocals. I believe War and Peace was submitted as part of his Masters thesis in Composition. I'd love to read Dimash's doctoral thesis which he submitted (or will soon submit) this year. (Dimash announced he will receive his Doctorate this year.) Dimash Qudaibergen, PhD 😊. We will need to address him as Dr. Prince Dimash. 😅

Dimash spent 3 yrs writing the screenplay, composing the music, and spent a lot of millions filming the video. If you loved the live concert Performance, you need to to watch and react to the MV of The Story of One Sky!!! It will blow you away!! I definitely would recommend watching the MV, more like a short film where the music is truly emphasizing what you are watching, the various vocal styles of different religions etc, absolutely incredible masterpiece of a composition and short film. There is also , on Dimash’s channel, the live version of this performance where you can see some of what was on the screens behind Dimash and obviously, since we can hear the drones, it’s very well recorded. Thank you for sharing, I watched your first reaction to Dimash quite a while ago and I know from the beginning you were wondering if he could do “metal/rock”, obviously he can but as with all of his vocals, the metal scream is used to emphasize emotion.

Thank you so much for doing the live performance of this. Although of course the quality isn't the best (yet we truly appreciate the Dear who did it - that was amazing) what I feel it shows is the incredible ability Dimash has to sing those beautiful soaring and emotional vocalisations, the sea-bed depth of his bass voice and vocal fry, and eventually the utter exhaustion that overtakes our hero at the end. He's completely wrung dry. He walks off without looking back - like he's saying 'I've had enough, that's it, there's no more to give you, leave me be'. After this song comes his first ever Spanish composition El Amor En Ti (The Love In You), which I'm not going to tell you anything about 🤣🤣🤣 Suffice it to say he needs a little break first. You'll understand when you see it. (It's amazing) You really really MUST react to the music video of The Story of One Sky. It took 3 years to make. It's 13 minutes long and is a mini-film. It's as enthralling as it is powerful, and is packed full of symbolism and meaning in every shot. And it hurts. Don't miss it. BTW I love it when you give it a go at singing like Dimash! You need to watch the MV to understand the entire meaning of the song. It took Dimash 3 years to compose the music for this song. Dimash also wrote the script of the MV that is a short film. He was also the main character. The lyrics were written by someone else, but under his direction. The short film is a masterpiece. Take care. ❤️🙏☮️

You can see this performance with much better audio and video quality in the official concert video (multicam): Almaty Concert 2019 Part 3 (25:00) I love this vocalization part where he refers to the liturgical chants of the major world religions: The muslim call to prayer, the sacred OM sound of Buddhism and Hinduism, the jewish shofar and the bells and chants of Christianity. Dimash est un super chanteur que beaucoup aime en Europe et en Asie ! Je trouve bizarre qu'un producteur américain n'ait pas pensé faire un film en s'inspirant de la vidéo de Dimash " l'histoire d'un ciel "" je pense qu'un magnifique film en serait sorti ! Dommage !

Regarding your question - in Bulgarian folklore, this type of throat singing is called "shopsko tresеne" (shop's shaking) and is characteristic of the folklore of this geographical region.
