NEW 2024: Loved your reaction. Here's new 2024 performance for you: Ms. Courtney Hadwin was invited to open the NY Pops orchestra's 41st Annual Birthday Gala last month celebrating Clive Davis' career in music production. He personally invited Ms. Courtney to perform "Piece of My Heart" in rememberance of his discovery and signing of Janis Joplin back in the 1960's. She's posted a vid of most of that performance on her KZfaq channel. Check it out on her channel, here: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/rbSfq8VpytvaYGQ.html Enjoy! I certainly have been as I keep it on repeat! UPDATE: a more complete vid of her full performance opening the show: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/nap9bM2KxtywoXU.html

Bob Dylan literally sold his soul to Satan and admits it and speaks of it and how he will honor his deal. Don't speak of Oliver Anthony and Bob Dylan in the same context at any level.

Dimash - The Story of One Sky, MV (kzfaq.info/get/bejne/Z7ajndqknp2qn3U.html) Your Reaction don't represent rely story of the SONG!! The Story Of One Sky! We peel back the many layers and see what's going on beneath the surface, and how that story applies to the world on so many levels. However, in this video, I thought it was much more important to really dig into the message of the video and what I believe Dimash was trying to communicate. The lyricist isn't even English, they is Russian . He is surrounded by non-English speakers so that explains a lot. Today, at the Kazakh artist’s fan meeting with his fans, the audience saw the MV to this work for the first time. The film is based on a story written by Dimash, with his own screenplay. The clip is divided into several parts. The first one is about childhood. The main character, his 2 friends are connected by childhood stories and symbols of eternal friendship. One day the friend saves the Protagonist when he drowns. However, there is already competition in this children’s story, as the boys are in love with one girl, and she chooses one. The second experiences a kind of psychological breakdown and transfers the children’s problems into the adult world of totalitarianism and struggle. The main character also speaks of unity, of peace, but through the lens of kindness and love. While fighting, he is confused, he is in shock, but he has to save his family - his pregnant wife (the very girl from his childhood) and his daughter. Once home, he is horrified by the picture of the dead and realizes that his family is also dead. After surviving this drama, he moves on to the antagonist to seek revenge. However, the Protagonist’s wife survives with the help of people who know that she is the one who must give birth to a special boy who can save the world. These are people of different nationalities and faiths who have united for peace. A parallel line of pilgrims are people of different religions, walking the hard path to some place of power where they could unite and discover the Heavenly Eye that would illuminate the world. By uniting, they create a common energy in which the protagonist’s son is born, as Hope and Faith for the Better. Their journey is a symbol of faith in general, because it always goes through trials. When we go to the truth, we go through certain lessons and our way to God is difficult, but only possible if we come together. This clip is not about war, it’s about peace. War here is a means of expressing the contrast of what happens when we lose love for one another. It is about the call to unite, to stop dividing each other along national, social, religious lines in order to preserve life, love, friendship, and the land for our children. Jimmy Rock (aka Jim Chandler) don't judge true ayes of Western culture.

The part that sounded digitally altered, is known as a goat trill. I’m sure it has other names, too. You will hear this technique in many middle eastern singers. The Kazakh people are primarily descended from Turkic nomads. As such, they have a lot of middle eastern and Asian influences. They also have a sizable minority of Slavic people. This creates a mix of many cultural influences. The goat trill is created by quickly moving back and forth between two registers. While Dimash, and many talented singers, are capable of changing registers without it being obvious, people doing this trill technique will actually lean into that normal break you hear when changing registers, and then do it over and over, very quickly.

I don't know if you know it (I didn't read all the comments) but he wrote this song. The original live version explained about how he is so against war and this was his song to show that. This was such a powerful performance because he really felt all that. You're a great Dimash reactor-keep up the good work!

Reading through the comments and I like to throw my 2 cents in on what happened with Courtney and her contract that eventually stunted her growth musically. Once she signed after AGT, her label seemed to treat her well. Sending her to different places and music people to help her learn the process and write her own songs. Things looked promising. As someone mentioned she got invited to Woodstock's 50th anniversary festival, but that concert never happened due to bad management by Woodstock people. Although that was a huge unfortunate break for her her label still seemed to be working with her positively. Then Covid put a stop on the world which put another wrench in her path to stardom. A few months later her label restructured when they made a deal with Simon Cowell's AGT business and all the artists he signed through AGT went to Sony Music, who in turn gave Simon all rights to AGT television, which they had shared previously. This is when I think things went bad between Courtney and her label. Also, during Covid, she was doing live chats and singing some songs for her fans during those live chats she was working on. She mentioned a few times that she wasn't supposed to be singing some of them to the public but decided to sing them anyway. I got the feeling this is when things really turned sour between them after a while. Sony may have not taking the same interest that Simon had in store for her. I may be way off, but either way things took a change when the world opened back up after Covid. Lots of promises were made by her music people to her, but nothing came of it. She would mention things looked promising in the near future only to see nothing coming to fruition for her. This happened a few times. Finally, I believe her contract was up and she was able to go independent after 4 years of misery. She had to be going nuts and so upset with her music people to strap her in a chair and not letting her do her thing. She has written a number of songs with lyrics indirectly telling her story. She replied to a question I asked on one of her social media channels and said she was expressing what she had to deal with over the past 4 years. Much more to it than this, but it's been said over and over. Now she seems to have some momentum going and big things are on the way. She is earning her way. What was once looking like an overnight success story, turned into a pay your dues 1st story. It may end up being the better story. It teaches lessons on how the music business works.
