I can`t believe you haven`t reacted to his vocalize performance of Know (Ascolta La Voce) from his Arnau tour. No lyrics, just a man and his voice, and I must say, that band is absolutely worthy of playing with Dimash. Fantastic performance. One of the best I have ever seen. I just sent this to a friend. “It wasn’t my favorite but it was good”. This isn’t just “good”. It’s a masterpiece. I’ve been watching Dimash since 2017. As of now, it’s my favorite. What he does with his voice is unparalleled to any other singer. I like josh Groban but he sings Josh Groban. There’s a beginning and an end to his songs. Dimash goes to so many places when he sings, I’m amazed. I think I’ve heard it all and he comes out with this. Ikanaida means “don’t go”in Japanese. This the first song he’s sung in Japanese. I love what you are saying about not knowing whether he wrote down the complete arrangement of the vocal for that song or made improvisations while singing. Oh Lord... who knows? Either one is genius. Dimash is the living embodiment of music. He says if you cut him open you would find music all the way through. So, he probably inks AND improvises, either separately in different songs or in the same song but in different parts of it. I do know that he practises every nuance of the song in his mind and every physical move he wants to make in advance. In rehearsal clips, you can see him doing it. Walking up and down, making moves, singing gently. He creates it, he practises it, he changes it, he practises it again, until the outside matches exactly what he feels is right on the inside. And that can also change according to how he feels at the moment of performance. Even when he has sung it a hundred times, every time can be different from the last. This is the mark of a true artist. He is a creator of beauty and all things are possible.

I saw him 3 weeks ago in concert in Düsseldorf, Germany. Waited for 2 years it was posponed due to corona. This song and all his songs are mindblowing live. The best concert I ever saw🔥 Thank you for the reaction😉🙋

In person, he sounds the same if not better, and never sings anything the same way twice. But, that man sees the notes in his head and reaches in and plucks them out perfectly at will. Now he's got the years of study out of the way for his PhD in Musicology in composition to commit his musical genius to paper at some future point. Still has to polish the 60,- 80,000 word dissertation for final award.

I read in the past that for a new song, he would go into his bedroom/studio and go through it all for a week to internalise it. By now it is probably fairly automatic. He would be sleepy in school as a child from staying up all night working on a song. He definitely rehearses each song so much it's basically muscle memory and can be done subconsciously and THEN he adlibs and changes every performance of each song 😂😂. I was in his concert in Prague on 16 Apr 2022. Before he start this song he asked the audience jokingly if they want this song Chinese version or Japanese version. The audience screamed. Dimash said: OK, I will sing both. And part of the song he sang in Chinese and part in Japanese, and yes, as you said it was sick, he did not miss any note, pitch or nuances of the song, just like recording. Dimash is the monster of vocals!

👉Two weeks ago, on April 16th, I was in Prague at the Dimash concert. After two long years (pandemic), the concert finally took place. I'm still flashed and excited. I cried and laughed, sang and cheered. Dimash sings every single song brilliantly and flawlessly, sometimes like in the video (Olimpico), sometimes a song with new arrangements and variations, new riffs and runs. This (often spontaneous) creativity distinguishes Dimash. He rarely sings a song in the same way. It's stunning and overwhelming. He also interacts with the audience in a beautiful, emotional and also funny way. There is a real connection. I never wanted it to end. I absolutely have to go to the next concert.
