I am so glad that we, Russian children of the seventies, had the opportunity to do whatever we wanted. We were drowning in the snow, we chose where we could swim and where it was dangerous, broke our knees to blood, argued, planted trees and rescued stray cats and dogs. We grew up strong and independent. We do not succumb to propaganda and we know where the lie is and where the truth is. We know how to survive and we appreciate what we have . You are my favorite reactor cause you can think deeply and have true unbreakable values. With love from USA .

Thank you. My husband is also Russian. They are absolutely appalled by what is happening in America right now. They can not understand why people can not see they are being played by the media etc. We see the same thing from the immigrants from Cuba and Venezuela who know what it is to live in hardships. The lack of appreciation some people have here is due to the media telling them they are all victims who should be handed everything regardless of the effort they put into themselves. I did not raise my kids that way. It is sad to see that America is being dumbed down to a place where people just follow and not question. Where a segment wants anyone with a belief or opinion different to be utterly destroyed. Just sickening.

I respect your comments on diversity and decision making and the tone of your reaction. My kids are getting older (the youngest is 14, the eldest 32), but as much I’ve given them freedom to their views and expression, I also have taught them to question things. To develop their own views by exploring the world - not to limit themselves by the scope of a single window. They were given limits, but told that these limits would expand as they got older and wiser. I have welcomed discussion and (sometimes regretfully) allowed them to have an opinion, but be able to support their opinion with facts. There are sections of society that don’t accept that there are FACTS out there. I don’t claim to be perfect, but I’m thrilled when my kids express themselves and when they can intelligently and compassionately support their opinions with facts, instead of giving knee-jerk reactions. The lyrics of this song are amazing. The expression and emotion and Dimash’s ability to convey those emotions is heart wrenching. Part of what makes me a Dear is not because I think Dimash is perfect (I’m sure his family would know the best how he is in private!), but because of his talent and his heart. I don’t know Dimash, but his soul is reflected in his music.

Fip, you are absolutely right. This is the reason why we love and respect this amazing artist, primarily because of his message, soulfulness and human qualities. Dimash is one of the few young modern artists, who with his creativity tries to popularize his native culture and in many of his compositions he sings about peace, unity and love. Perhaps this is the most wonderful, deep and soulful reaction. For this reason, you are my favorite reactor🤗❤️

This reaction is from today one of my favorites. "Qairan Elim" is a song with intense music and lyrics and Dimash's energetic and passionate performance makes it a gem, but your reflections just put a cherry on the cake. I agree with you 100 percent, as parents (because I include myself) we have overprotected the new generations, we have not helped them to experience life in a healthy way, we have applauded insignificant achievements and they have learned that with little effort they will achieve their goals, we have fostered their lack of tolerance for frustration solving everything for them, we have become lazy when it comes to educating and we have let them learn from the wrong sources. But, I believe that by making a healthy self-criticism we are in time to help our young people (and ourselves, because in the end we also suffer the consequences of the pitiful education we gave them) to have a satisfactory and good life, in accordance with that, each one must make appropriate changes in our thoughts and actions. Parents never stop educating and being an example, we can always positively influence the lives of our children. Thanks Filipe. Greetings from Mexico.

Dear Fil! Thank you for this reaction to this song. You flattened me with your comments and your filosophy, you know? I agree with you on every single point. And I'm glad that there are still people in this world who educate their children and try to impart values to them instead of just letting them do what they want and hoping that it will somehow work out. I observe enough scenes in everyday life where things have not turned out well. Dimash has so many layers and to see his deep love for his roots without becoming an arrogant smartass fills me with joy, with a kind of motherly pride (I'm 50 years old, so I belong to this kind of generation) and a hearty portion of longing. He simply shares his love, his devotion and also his pride for his country without constantly pointing fingers and blaming others. I think that is one of the many reasons that makes him so easy to love. I wish I, no, WE, had more of an ability to forgive each other and also ourselves and not act like bulldozers and wrecking balls all the time. Lots of love from Switzerland 🤗🇨🇭

You are so right. Kids today have too many material staff, but not enough values. They don’t know the meaning of discipline and responsibility. I called them the “ME, Me generation” They think that they are entitled to all rights, but not obligations. Parents are too lazy to do parenting, and their kids are indoctrinated by TV and media. Love your reaction to this song and your understanding of Dimash power. I hope people who follow Dimash will analyze the lyrics in his songs. I’m afraid, for the same reasons you mentioned, they are not able to relate to the suffering and love for ones LAND (country). A country is as powerful as the values of its people. Love ya. 💝🙏

I like that Dimash kneeled down to give Olzhas Qurmanbek a moment to shine during his solo performance on the Qobyz, as to not over shadow his fellow musician or if they're in the same frame, they're at least level, equal to each other. He's always show appreciation for his fellow performer like when he was performing at an award show w/ a dancer, once the performance is over he reached for the dancer's hand so they can take a bow together. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/mqmpbKx8ra_YiI0.html

You were all over this Fil! You spoke truth about how we fail our precious children. And kudos to you also for being a true Dear. You get it...it's Dimash's singing, yes, but also his incredible passion that makes him so special. People support him because, for those who can grasp it, his personal power is such that the more he rises, somehow, the more we rise in our own lives as well. Btw, Kazakhstan, as it exists today, was established in December 1991 - it's only 2-1/2 years older than Dimash himself - so there's no doubt that he will be remembered as a legendary Kazakh patriot. (As an American, I liken him to Francis Scott Key, who wrote The Star Spangled Banner.)

You are correct. Dimash calls for love and peace for everyone. Todays young generation seems to have difficulty handling anything especially if it is someone else's opinion. They also seem to believe everything should be easy. You are also right about the movie industry, and music in the states as well as and especially the media fueling the division. When you speak to people in the street at least where I am, people continue to for the most part (always a few idiots) show people respect and treat each other kindly. Some areas of the states allow destruction and chaos at the expense of the law abiding citizens and it is pure insanity. Dimash and his music is uplifting, calming and meaningful.

You're saying the right things. Remember yourself in your first reaction to Dimash, Phil...there were some words about your voice, Dimash's control, your artistry. And then you started to think and share your thoughts, which Dimash's creativity gives birth to in you. And that's what happens with almost most of the reactionaries to Dimash. It's as if Dimash purifies you, makes you lighter and more sincere. At the same time, you talk about right and eternal values: about the homeland, your home, soul, family, children...about what is really important in this world. In this context, Dimash, as a warrior of light, among the dirt, falsehood and vices of the performers, points the right way to the listeners. And by the way, though the surnames are not translated, but here it is possible to translate ... Igor Krutoy, his surname in English literally sounds like Steep.

I don't mind for a second that you said this and I agree with your every word! Parenting is a responsibility, and a big one, the biggest one! It depends on us what our children will be like, I responsibly claim that and I have experience. Dimash was raised in the spirit of family and family values, where modesty and kindness are virtues. If I may say so, it is still nurtured in many countries, but not in America.

Yes, I can only agree with what you said. Children need a stable framework in which they can grow up. They need direction and values, solid ground from which they can eventually start in life. Unfortunately, this is all too often lost these days for a variety of reasons. Today's parents often haven't had good soil themselves. Dimash and everyone around him, both family and friends, are a great example of how it can and should be. Many people have lost touch with their own roots and with the roots of their country. A country like Kazakhstan had strong traditions and very deep roots. Certainly there is also the danger that people will forget that. In the Dimash family, however, this contact is still very strong. The love for one's country is a healthy love. A deep awareness that without the land we live on we would be lost. That the land we inhabit deserves respect. That it is important to honor and cultivate the land and its natural cycles. To see land not as a possession but as a partner who provides everything we need as long as we are good partners. The modern world has lost touch with it. We chase after dead things, like money. We forget where we came from and what is really important in life. It is a sick cycle that fuels itself. America is an example of this too. Who were they who loved the country and first populated it? Yes, it was the indigenous peoples who often enough still had a real connection to the land. They still knew how to deal with the country without destroying it. Many people who came to America later came from worlds whose nature had already been damaged. Where land was already divided into ownership. Many came not to populate land but to conquer and own it. I'm not saying that to this day there are also people among them who know better, but there are too few. Dimash makes me long for good old values. He's a great example to me. I am enthusiastic about his natural passion and his deep roots in the country, family and friends and in general with everyone. In my country (Germany) it is difficult to get back to old roots. We partially trampled our own roots to the ground. I think it would be necessary to find new ways to honor your own country anew. Not nationalistic, as is often the case today. No, originally. But it's hard once you've lost that. Dimash gives hope and shows how it would be right. He is really something very special.

I enjoyed listening to your views on parenting! Human Development theory tells us that children are not born with a conscience; it is something that must be learned, and it is up to parents to teach the child. Additionally, there is a short time span for this to happen. They need to start learning this very young because by the age of 7 or 8, children who have not learned a conscience and consequences of behaviours (good and bad) are the ones that are to be feared. Without a sense of right and wrong, they become entrenched in entitlement and manipulation and (my humble opinion) are the ones most likely to take a weapon to school and do damage to those they believe are doing wrong to them. Kids who *do* have a conscience will definitely act out of fear of the kids who don't have a conscience - i.e., ostracizing, avoiding, etc. It is a complete lose/lose scenario. Scary stuff and something that becomes more pervasive and visible as each decade passes.

I can't help keeping coming back in! Love your 'Candle in the wind' analogy. Tis all too true. Frighteningly true. So many people 'pronounce' themselves "BROKEN" these days - Over such silly little 'sh.t'. "Oh I had a falling out with my Bestie - I'm Soooo broken!" Seriously? I came from a Funeral this am of a 101 y/o family friend. I thought I knew him pretty well. You know what I learned? A whole heap of things I never knew. That he had never spoken of. - He had been a key figure in the Resistance movement during the German occupation of Holland. - He had risked his life so many times to save people he never knew. - He was part of a specialist team that developed encrypted communications to get vital information to the Allied forces - After the war in Europe was over and his military service done - he VOLUNTEERED to continue and went to Indonesia to help people there recover from worst excesses of the Japanese occupation. - At age 50 he sat down and learned a whole new profession in order to gain employment and support his family after he migrated to a new country. - He was an Olympic level Athlete & then Coach! And this I did know: He was a stern but fair father - who taught his Kids (and Grand kids) about responsibility and hard work, about respect and consequences. Things they didn't appreciate at the time - indeed often bitterly resented. But one after another they stood up at his funeral today and paid tribute to him for teaching them these same values that have guaranteed their individual successes today. A living example of how adversity both tests and strengthens you. How character building and parenting should be done. He didn't 'fluff around' worrying about whether his kids ' liked' him or tried to be 'their friend'. He knew his job was to be a parent and a strong role model. And he did his job. A wonderful man. In Olympico - Igor & Dimash have the same Message as here.: He sings; "You are bigger than your problems" "Don't give up" "You are strong" "Keep moving forward" Positive - Powerful messages. . Love it.

You are absolutely right when you talk about the education of modern youth. We in Russia have faced this especially painfully. We people of your age grew up in the most difficult conditions - the collapse of the country, crime, the collapse of ideals! But we understood how to be and how to live. Modern youth grows up in hothouse conditions and if suddenly we will not be with you - they will die. Let's be patient and teach them the values that will save them )

Fable Nuclear Reactor This has been the best reaction video Ever. I just subscribed to your channel. You got the exact point of the message that Dimash wants people to get, the most important thing is the family and then the land, because on this land we grew up and our parents raised us for generations. No new ideology can change that and we for sure cannot allow anyone to do that. And that suits for any nation, any ethnicity a any country. This young Kazakh man we are listening to is not only a singer, he is a Messenger. And due to his quality as a performer is a virtuoso of the arts. He should be declared a Living Cultural Heritage of Humanity.

@@thefablesphereI can't believe you already read my comment ... OMG!!!!. Thank you very much for such courage you showed by saying what you think. I cried while listening you speaking and Dimash singing. I know this song and I love it, I have listened to it with subtitles several times. I know what you meant by every word you said. This maybe kinda weird, but I want you to know that you are not alone. We have to stop being the silent majority.
