Indeed! His voice is a magnificently unique instrument, and his humility and respect for his elders is incomparable. He and Placido Domingo are going to be co-Jurists on a panel for European up and coming artists. Placido, in his first meeting with Dimash was like a Dears fanboy! He was gushing over Dimash's talent and asked him to sing a duet together. Dimash responded with such self-effacement and constantly referred to Placido as Maestro!

Eu sempre me emociono com essa apresentação do Dimash , eu não entendo o idioma,mas senti a mensagem, mérito da capacidade do Dimash em transmitir as emoções das músicas. ♥️♥️🇧🇷

He has that suit in 3 different colours, this burgundy one, navy blue and black and he looks just as good in each one. Obviously every performance can't be a live one, certain events don't allow for it, it's a bit like the Superbowl which has to be lipsynced for fear of technical issues. If he's doing a huge event then he won't be allowed to sing live. Governments don't want to be embarrassed by anything going wrong at the last minute.

Though in your regular daily life, you might never listen to Dimash, your reactions and comments regarding the Dimash vids are great fun.

I don't know if someone mentioned this in a different language, but - Dimash idolized Igor Krutoy from a very early age. At 9 he was watching Lara Fabian accompanied by Igor Krutoy on TV and longing to be a part of that. Years later, Krutoy saw him and was impressed - Dimash was refusing producers from Russia because he was developing his audience in China - but then Krutoy called, and everything changed. Dimash thinks of him as a grandfather, and Krutoy appears to treat him with the same affection. There are some very sweet clips of the two of them out there.... Krutoy did a very limited tour for his 65th birthday in 2019 (as I recall, it was 3 countries) - and made Dimash a part of it. So, Dimash was intro'd to the US in Oct. 2019, then came back on December 10th for a sold out solo concert at Barclays Stadium. Dimash's whole 2019 US concert is available on line, as is much of Igor Krutoy's earlier concert.

From what I understand, Igor Krutoy is a Ukranian who lives in Russia, a multi-billionaire who had retired from writing music because he felt the more modern singers weren't understanding what he wanted to write. And then he heard Dimash. Not only did Dimash have range and vocal agility, he was also full of the understanding of the poetry of what Igor wanted to write. So he and Dimash met, and they hit it off very well, and Igor wrote several gorgeous songs for Dimash, which became huge hits. Igor Krutoy said that Dimash was the singer he had been waiting decades to write for. They remain close friends. I am not sure if Igor has retired again, or what. I wish I read Russian so I knew more. Many other Dears can tell you much more than I can.

Dimash CAN sing anything live (including the Russian phone book, I imagine---LOL), but don't let any misguided Dears talk you into believing that he always sings live. Just like every other professional singer, there are sometimes circumstances in which he is either required by the venue to lip-synch, or as a matter of saving his voice for an upcoming live concert, for example. It has taken literally years to educate some of his fans on this reality so it wouldn't be good to undue the progress we have made on this count by suggesting once again that everything Dimash sings is always live! After all, in spite of the belief by some that Dimash is an alien, he is in fact a human being. All of that being said, I've been enjoying your reactions to Dimash's incredible performances. In summary, my guess is he began composing *melodies* good enough to share widely in his early teens, but only began writing *lyrics* he felt were good enough to share widely in the last year. In more detail... He was 29 this May. The video titled My Beauty, in which he sings in a silly but cute video, has a January 2012 upload date. Ergo he was 17 (or younger) when he sang in the video. I've read he composed the song when he was 15, and see no reason to doubt that. In an interview he said his dad wrote the lyrics. As far as I know he's only begun uploading songs crediting himself as the lyricist (as well as composer) within the last year.

Dimash started writing his song when he was 19 years old. The song is called Unforgettable Day (A love song) and he sings the song in every concert and the audience sing with him. Really fun to be in his concert here in NY in 12/19/19. He is a very talented & unique artist.
