Normally if Dimash does a cover (which he hasn't done for a few years now) he goes for the throat and Dimashifies it. For some reason, whether it was out of respect for one of his favourite composers, Walter Afanasieff (who Dimash is currently working with in LA) who wrote the song or because it was a film festival, he kept fairly close to the original with My Heart Will Go On. For most of the Dears though, it's not all about his crazy range, it's the emotion he brings to the song, the way he flows effortlessly across genres in multiple languages, the story telling and the way he connects with his audience and the way his Dears connect with each other across the world because of him. It's a unique fandom in more ways than I have time to tell you. Let's just say Dimash leads by example and because of that music for us now has no linguistic and geographical boundaries.

Slavic Bazar is a singing competition in Vitebsk Belarus. Dimash won this competition in 2015. this SOS was in 2018 and he performed as a guest not as a participant. In 2021 Dimash was one of the judges. I wanted to recommend Stranger but yeah you already said it will be next. There you will see and hear way more of his vocal range. He is simply incredible.

Dimash is undoubtedly the world's greatest singer, not just for his crazy range but the purity and emotion he brings to his music. But I can also recommend Zhoe Shen. He doesn't have the range but his voice is just beautiful too. Ring the Doorbell, Baby are two of my faves but in fairness most of Shen's songs are my favourite ❤
