Only yesterday he had to miss the opening of his sister's restaurant because he received an urgent call from his President to meet with him and President Macron of France. You should see his speech on the ethics of peace from the Central Asian Media Forum, it's on his channel and it was incredible.

Thank you for your great and empathetic reaction. In The Story Of One Sky he sings the whole soundtrack himself. The video shows once again that Dimash is an absolute genius. In singing but also as an actor and as a storyteller. The powerful message conveyed by this video is more relevant today than ever. I think this video is mostly about the message. This message however, is for the first time more important than his vocal abilities. His voice is just the tool in this video. But simply unbelievable. His singing is indescribable and I don’t have the words to express it adequately. But it is only the mediator of what this video is about. This is so heartbreaking and sad and an awesome masterpiece. Pure goosebumps. You probably have to see it more than once to understand it. He worked on this composition for three years and also wrote the screenplay. The premiere was on September 24, 2022. As some have mentioned, this video should be seen by many people. It may be very brutal for some. But let’s not forget that for many, including children, this is everyday life in some countries. And Dimash relentlessly shows us how ugly war is. OMG he is such a phenomenal actor. Dimash was the little boy who was drowning in the beginning and he gave the necklace to his childhood friend (and future leader) and the girl. The girl on the beach was his future wife. She was pregnant and in the end of the video she gave birth to her and Dimashs' (character) second child. The littel girl who was shot was Dimashs and her first daughter. When he came home and saw his daughter dead on the ground, he had to assume that his wife was also killed. Desperation and maybe revenge has led him to kill his former friend. When I first saw the video, I was shocked. I didn't think he was going to shoot his friend. But in the end that all made sense. Dimash wanted to show what revenge can do. Violence always breeds violence, and because of this, not only is the leader dead, but so is Dimash. It was so heartbreaking to see Dimash drown at the end. Dimash in the last sequence of the video was the baby that was born and now as a grown man unites people of different nationalities and religions for peace. In this video you can see how the main religions are represented mostly with his voice. Islam with the type of Arabic melisma (unfortunately I don't know the correct explanation for this type of singing), Buddhism with the monks and the enchanting "Ohm", Judaism with the shofar and the Christian church with the soprano singing, which often can be heard in churches. That´s why it is making you cry: he is singing to your soul, not to your ears In the deep voice part he says something like “People are just travelers in the path that is life" Then he goes to a "Heaven entrance sound" 15:14 Then he goes again in voice of despair giving a claim and a statement. No one should ever have to live through that and yet we are now at the verge of possible WW3. Dimash is a very vocal champion for peace. His art form is pure music that takes you through a journey every time and never fail to touch every one of us right in the heart. This was a roller coster ride, indeed. I saw the video of this song performed live in concert, and he gave it his ALL, and at the end of the song, he was completely spent. Got to love Dimash.

This song is a "modern" multicultural interfaith Requiem (the traditional Requiem is a song for the Mass of the Dead in the Catholic Church. The best known requiem is by Mozart I think). The Requiem usually has 2 parts: one mourning death and the other celebrating life. Dimash says in a low voice: Адам керуен, өмір жол. Man is a caravan, life is a road. (Kazakh proverb) So for me, the caravan is his (and our) inner world. Religiosity is in us, the religious man dies when a part of the soldier (Dimash) dies when he finds his daughter dead. So when he seeks revenge, there's a storm. Death follows death: Piper dies but the soldier (Dimash) dies too. Death is not the answer. And so violence is not the way (You can murder the "bad guy" but if everybody thinks that violence is an answer, another "bad guy" will appear for sure.) And then we see that his son made a better decision... His son joins others in seeking peace. That is the final answer. Hug from Brazil 😍🇧🇷

Great reaction my man. This one is hard to watch, for anyone. I'm not an military man, but the message is clear and everyone can understand it. It hurts. The message does. The song is incredible. Dimash wanted to tell this story. He directed it, is an actor in it, sang everything, and he composed the music. This is one of the most expensive music video productions in history and it only happened because he insisted on it. He reinvested much of his personal earnings into this production; to get his message out.

He detests war and has stated that wars are always between two people not two nations. He has said that he is 'only a singer' so all he can do is 'use his voice'. This is Dimash's humility and him using his voice. Dimash composed the music and wrote the screen play. This was a project 3 years in the making on and off in-between commitments in many countries and his homeland not to mention his concerts of which there was four in 2022 alone. Dimash premiered The Story of One Sky live at his concert in Almaty, Qazaqstan on the 23rd September and the video released on the 24th. The emotion, heart and soul is real and I believe this was a way for him to vent his frustration at current world events. If leaders want to wage war it should be between the two leaders not innocent casualties. This is about the senseless act of war, It’s about life, death and rebirth. Director Alina Veripya is second to none in her field and portrayed everything magnificently. I believe she also directed ‘Okay’ for Dimash which was a great video. The Story of One Sky is an absolute mind blowing masterpiece and deserves unrivalled recognition from all corners of the earth. This makes you sad, cry and smile but leaves you questioning the direction we as a humans are travelling. Dimash promised something epic and that was a colossal understatement. He delivered as always. ♥️❤️💕🕊

Dimash stood on his shoulders, composed one, wrote a screenplay, acted it, sang it, put it in movie format and distributed it, bringing the international music and entertainment industry to its knees, in this 3 year effort and monumental achievement. Within weeks, LA was knocking on his door and at their invitation, he spent 3 weeks there in high level meetings with US entertainment executives such as David Foster, and artists, much talk of awards in industry journals !

I've seen in your in your face that you've lived and seen things most people haven't; you know things most people don't because of your military background. You shared some inner demons through your eyes. I've felt compelled to your take of Dimash video as well as you as a very sensible person, I just had to subscribe to your channel, no matter you post lesss than others.
