Thanks for your thoughts, Caleb. I am so with you. I am one million percent ready for an album Dimash composes himself. Composition is the degree he's working on. Nobody knows his voice better than he does, and I really want to hear more of what he does when he isn't compromising with another person on style. I believe Neverland is one he wrote himself as well, not 100% sure. Collaboration is wonderful, of course, but he tends to collaborate with people twice his age and I'm not sure it's doing him a lot of favors.

Here you can see that Dimash focused more on the meaning of the composition itself and on Chinese lyrics. As I know China has been in difficult relations with Kazakhstan for a couple of years now. I fell in love with this composition a few years ago when it appeared on youtube. It has some great hooks, and I still love listening to it. The percussive elements and rhythm are so interesting, like a contemporary twist on tango. Somewhere on youtube there was a video of this song dubbed over a well-known ballroom tango couple dancing an Argentine tango. This song fit as perfectly with their dance as if it had been made for it. Dimash's genre is Dimash, and I hope that never changes.

Dimash is currently working on his a Masters Degree in Composition, and then after that Dimash has said he wants to pursue PhD.
