Are Quantum storage heaters available to work with a standard single supply yet or does the heating still require a separate timer-switched supply?

I am interested about storage heater with IOT and weather forecast controller, have you got any suitable? It must be, better than Sunhouse from mid 80s. I don't need LCD display.

I think this heater in video is obsolete concept. LCD display is only consuming energy, looks nice but nothing more than that. Much better is old fashioned storage heater with bimetallic thermostat and mechanical flap for heat release. But I would like to see any trully modern storage heater with weather forecast controller in order to optimize energy consumption.

New to these heaters. Have a one bedroom bungalow. Previously had fir old type storage heaters now only have two storage, absolutely freezing. Kitchen has only got plinth on and off heaters. When I open my kitchen door on a morning the hall heaters flashes telling me I have a window open. Never been so cold in my little house.

Sounds like the ones I just got by Elnur. Fan using peak electricity to heat. Not warm either!

Surely the fan, on peak rate, is only a small wattage pushing heat out of the bricks. They are heated off peak.

Hi John, the fan uses 20 watts when being used to push the heat out, it is very little usage on the peak supply, the digital display only uses 10 watts per hour also. The only time the peak would be used for heating is if the end user selected the advanced boost option which would heat the front panel if there wasn't enough heat within the storage side. Hello Unfortunately, I am the owner of four Dimplex Quantum radiators model: QM150. . At the moment I only use one because my weekly topping up is 40 pounds. It's cold at home. Imagine how much I will pay if I turn them all on? How to set them so that they heat up at night (when electricity is cheaper) and keep warm throughout the day? Why aren't these "420" showing up to me at all?

These heaters are expensive to run, and I would Never have them again in any property I live in!!!

but, there is option to set them up with timer device, so it automatically turns on/off depending on the electricity rates, so it's very cheap, clean and automatized...

I have 3 of these, they're terrible, nearly as terrible as Dimplex's customer service when things go wrong. Read the small print and make sure you research the latest 'Series G' Quantum before considering buying...

I had the elnur hhr like these and they are awful, we are freezing don't buy anything like these don't waste your money I have been fighting my case with elnur for 9 months and still have these awful things that don't heat.

@@dimplexinfo same!!! mine do nothing!! the fan comes on and the grille doesnt heat up at all, the settings are all correct. it only works if i press boost which as they say will expend way more energy and be super expensive! argh
