While vampirism and Scary Monsters complement each other very well, ultimate being Dio with the World over heaven would just be slightly more powerful. Still a cool concept tho, pretty sure the KZfaqr Kaleb I. A. did a video about it.

But on a less teasing note... I think with the evidence of Dio's abilities to just shove his fingers into people in order to feed, fuse living creatures, heal deformities in humans, and create the flesh buds (that, while maybe not scientifically classifiable as living creatures, are at least on par with the complexity of a virus); I think it's a fairly logical conclusion that he, as a vampire, has a general matter manipulation ability. The next question for me, then, is whether that ability applies exclusively to biological matter. With the Pillar Men, it was obvious that they had the same ability, and that it could be used on inanimate matter just as easily as biological matter. Being a step down on the latter, I could see how the same ability might exist in a more limited form for a vampire, but then I'd also think the limitation would be that only inanimate matter can be manipulated. So, ultimately, I'd have to assume that Dio basically has the same ability as the Pillar Men to just totally fuck up any sort of matter, the explanation likely having something to do with the "mostly empty space" property of that matter. With that question basically answered, the only remaining question I see is why Dio doesn't make much use of this ability in the same way the Pillar Men so readily make use of it. For Phantom Blood, the answer is probably a simple "Araki hadn't fully fleshed out the idea yet, and what we see of it from Dio is a good example of how the author experiments early on with bizarre ideas that later get really expanded upon." Thus the only remaining unanswered question is why we don't see it more in Part 3, well after the ability was established and refined with the Pillar Men. It's likely some sort of limitation, but my curiosity is whether it's a forced limitation (it expends too much energy, or can only be engaged for an amount of time far too limited to prove effective in combat) or a self-imposed limitation (shit's too easy, he gets no enjoyment out of it, it doesn't really allow him to toy with prey). Needless to say, I love your videos and the discussions they prompt. If I made videos, a lot of mine would be follow-ups to yours, I think. :D
