Why not create a new bracket? Its just one bend and a hole. I'm confident you guys have the capability and tools to do this.

You're so right about the bumper. Those plastic rivets are a right PITA when trying to get the bumper reattached and lined up afterwards. Owned many subarus, and after removing the bumper once on one of them, I swore I'd try to avoid having to do so ever again. Those rivets break SO easily.

Especially when they are old and when its cold out. These were fine but a pain to work with overall. Much rather a much of Torx screws!

Nice job, as always. I also have a Forester. I put some SS3s in combo configuration in front of the grill with yellow lenses. I have a different solution for switches, but I saw that cubby switch holder on Etsy. Pretty slick and stealthy. 👍
