In today's video I review Dip It Fantasy Film resin craft kit, and have a try and some acrylic resin craft ideas, along with some resin dipped wire flowers. Overall I thought Dip It Fantasy Film was a very unusual resin craft kit, but I think you could make some pretty cool acrylic resin craft projects with this craft kit, especially some resin dipped wire flowers. I do think the packaging of Dip It Fantasy Film was very outdated, but the acrylic resin and the items included in this resin craft kit were pretty cool! Although I only tried a few things from this Dip It Fantasy Film acrylic resin craft kit, I'd definitely be tempted to revisit it and come up with some more acrylic resin craft ideas, including improving my resin dipped wire flowers! But what were your thoughts on this Dip It Fantasy Film acrylic resin craft kit? Has it given you some acrylic resin craft ideas, or will you be attempting your own resin dipped wire flowers? And let me know in the comments if you have any other craft kits that you'd like to see tested and reviewed on the channel!

I recognize this product as something I used to play with when I was in elementary school. I am 54 now so this would have been some time in the mid-70s. It IS indeed a very old school craft. I remember thinking at the time that it was something that "hippies" would like lol. Regardless, it was fun to play with and it fascinated me as a child how the product would harden and actually was quite durable and long-lasting. I'm amazed that this product is still for sale. I assumed they stopped producing it.

I used this in the 70s, i was in a craft club that I belonged too. It was so much fun, very easy and so pretty. It looks like stained glass. I don't know why he keeps saying it strange. His flowers were terrible. We made ours so perfect. We made many and put them in a little vase. I am so glad I found this again.

I had used this once as a kid, it was fun. The bubbles you are talking about were fun too. Think they were something like rubber bubbles or something. You got a little tube to blow it up with.

I played around with it in the'60's. And the bubble you're talking about I also played with. We, as kids, would blow a bubble and then chew it. 😂

My dad used fantasy film (or something like it) for his railroad collection. One of my favorite childhood memories is him making me a little resin wire heart to show me how it works. I finally researched what it was and my order of fantasy film arrived yesterday. I’m so glad that some creators have found fantasy film so I have some idea of what to do ☺️

I had this stuff as a child in the 90s - that was one of the best "Toys" I ever had! It kept me bissy for hours and it s really easy for a child too. :-) As an adult I think,it can be great to for art. I Don t know, what I would do with it atm, but I think, it s great to know about it s existence and just have the possibility to use it for an art project.

Lol. I have to tell you…..that kit looks right out of the 60’s or 70’s. I remember doing this. Don’t know what it was called but we made flower petals and then wrapped the wires together to make flowers. I see a lot of people said the same. The flower you are making really reminded me of those we made.

Way late to the game, I know, but this morning my husband and I were talking about toys from our youth. He mentioned something called “ spin welder” and I mentioned this flower dipping kit. After some research I found it. In the U.S. it was called “Dip A Flower” ( circa early 1970’s). I figured the dip would probably be banned by now but we did it with no PPE’s! Lol. Anyhow, I stumbled on a KZfaq video of something similars ( yours) and I had to laugh when I started watching because as a crafter I follow Luxinda Swirl and she talks about you all the time. Crazy! Anyhow, thanks for the throwback!
