Still there's nothing that comes close to the brothers in arms limited edition SACD.. It's clarity of the sound is far beyond anything i ever heard.

The best version isn't necessarily the one someone is familiar with. I have a first pressing that seems to be a Robert Ludwig and sounds excellent. Same with Gaucho from Steeley Dan. I thing some of these are just money grabs. How many versions of Miles Davis do you need? Aja as well. Colored vinyl, same thing. That being said, it isnt my place to tell people what to buy. Too much great music out there to quibble about the best version of XXXX, by YYYY of the 38 copies we have. 😊😊

Definitely too much music to quibble on which pressing is the best. If you watch enough of my videos, I’ll often say that a certain pressing sounds great to me with no desire to seek out a better version. I do believe that MOFI did an excellent job on the Dire Straits series, and if you’re a fan, they are worth picking up before they are out of print. 👍😉
