The mirror thing is a real DID thing, most people with DID have trouble looking into mirrors and it can indeed trigger switching

5:35 I’ve noticed on his instagram lives, he has this kind of mannerism that he tends to close one eye whenever he looks at the phone and I assume sees his imagine on the screen. He’s said it’s often difficult for him to tell who he’s looking at and yes, he has said that looking straight at his reflection can trigger switches. I think I’ve read about the connection of eye movement and trauma/mental disorders but I’m not sure. It could be that Otherwise the eye symbolism is a nod to his vision as a director if I remember correctly!

Christian mentioned that the cross is indeed there in DPR + Visuals (it's not a Plus) and it's meant for protection. Mito is also more religious, hence the cross visuals in the videos, such as in Nerves and sometimes as temp tattoos. And his mom gave him a cross necklace when he visited Sydney during Regime tour.

4:40 he said the meaning behind the lost eye is that when he is in low mania (mito) he blacks out sometimes and/or cant remember the thought process he had when in that state and because he uses his imagination A LOT, when he comes out of that it feels like he’s lost his sight, something vital to him and his creation process

We haven't met THE REAL Mr. Insanity yet - not directly. This whole time we've only been seeing glimpses of him through Ian. All this conflict between Ian and Mito is because Mito wants to stop Ian from ~becoming~ Mr. Insanity. Here is the thing, the more Ian walks through these doors (or memories) the more insane he becomes, so he is still in the process of becoming Mr. Insanity. If I'm not mistaken, Christian himself said that in "So I Danced" the character we saw was not Ian completely transformed yet. And in another more recent live, he talked a little more about The Hybrid and how this ancient being will be responsible for driving Ian insane. After crossing that door in "So I Danced" Ian will find a Void, which is where The Hybrid resides, and what happens there is what will lead Ian to insanity. We will probably see this in an Mv or in the movie that will be released. BY THE WAY, DID YOU KNOW HE IS GOING TO RELEASE A MOVIE? It will be part of Mito’s trilogy. Dude!! This just came to me out of listening you talking about the mirrors, and someone please tell me if what I'm thinking is possible... I think the fact in almost every MV the logo letters are backwards is to say that maybe it's Ian watching everything through the mirror. Could it be? I'm loving this DPR Ian Journey! Hey Flo! I think it's actually from Ian's perspective.. like we're getting to see things through his eyes (not in a 1st person POV sense, but more like we gain access to things that only he sees).

@@ThisRoscoe Yep! I thought something like that. Then I got a lil bit confused in the Mitto's POV 'cause the logo letters are like "normal" so, does that mean that is Ian in some kind of control even when Mitto is the leading caracter? Do I make any sense? 🤣

I believe he told it on one of his instalive's that means logo mirrored when he is in front of camera. And normal when he is behind. If i get it right.

Idk if he noticed but this also introduced a bit of the hybrid in the original "Don't go Insane" too. The part ( 2:57 ) where he's wearing a purple suit i believe is the hybrid not Mr Insanity. Edit: I think the Mito version of Don't Go Insane takes place after Ribbon because I noticed that he's holding his side from where Ian stabbed himself which triggers Mito to switch out. I could be wrong idk. Edit part dos: I guessed wrong about the Hybrid it's just Mr Insanity with funky looking hair in a purple suit.

Christian said this in his live from 10 March 2024: "we haven't heard what the Hybrid sounds like yet" "the version that you see of me in limbo is not the Hybrid" And the purple outfit appears in Don't Go Insane with the bed and the "wolf dance" sequence, but I presume that it can't be the Hybrid yet if Christian is still so cryptic about the Hybrid

recently jst found out about DPR Ian and he talked about having diagnosed with bipolar. I got interested cuz my son is also having this disorder. I am amazed how Ian can manage it and found the outlet to deal with it. I pray so hard for my son to be able to overcome it too. 😢 with a lifetime medications

I don't know if I remember this correctly but I think he mentioned that a cross reminds him of his mom. Protection or safe, something like that. I wish I remember the IG or tiktok live... I don't trust myself so take that as a grain of salt LOL

I remember him saying something like this. From what he has said, it feels like he has grown up with religion and associates it partly with his mom, whom he has always considered a very positive influence in his life. But he said he (Ian) doesn’t really go to church anymore. On the other hand, Mito seems to have vast biblical knowledge that Ian doesn’t have (alters can have different skills and knowledge about certain things), and that he would mark himself with a cross and undoubtedly the religious metaphors (fallen angels etc) come from Mito’s fascination with biblical imagery. Another thing with the cross and mirrors: during the Regime Tour in 2022, he was under a lot of stress and it triggered rapid switches and further splitting into different alters. Sometimes he would switch on the stage so the crew put a mirror on the stage and he would look at himself in the mirror at the end of Nerves to see who he was at that moment. He would draw something in the mirror too, to let his crew know who was fronting and one thing he often drew was a cross, although I think that meant that he was Christian at that moment. I’ve seen the fancams and sometimes he drew a heart or just dragged his hand down. The audience thought this was theatrics but in reality it was for him and for his crew to check in with his mental state. He talks about these in the interview with Say What Reacts!

I always thought the eye was becuase mito is always watching thats why mitos eye is white becuase he is "using" it to look in at the others. That was my thought anyway. Also did no one else see the dragon-esk thing in the clouds? It shows up when the lighting hits and he is tied to the cross.

That's a really cool theory and actually goes really well with a theory on IG about Mito spying on Insanity and The Green through the eyes of the dog, whose eyes we see flash the same colors as Mito's one eye! Really fun how you guys notice all this stuff, thanks for sharing! 👏🏽

a few think im not sure if yall talked about during the stream: idk if yall noticed, but at 2:37 the green switched back and forth between pink and green... I wonder wut that means?? or maybe the green means he's drunk bc he was drinking and maybe he got scared it kinda sobered him??? Or if hes secretly not on Ian's side? lmao idk, but still he is the only green one there so there has to be a reason... also whenever u were talking about the cut out eye around 4:30 , they have their right eye cut out,(im not sure if its white or not) while in the miito movie, they had their left eye cut out and white... maybe to show the difference between which world they are in??? at 13:47 , I think thats his outfit from ribbon in miito movie... and in the mito version of dont go insane, 9:54 i think thats after he go stabbed in the miito movie bc it looks like the same outfit and at the same spot(the wound), maybe after that he "d!ed" and came back alive in the dont go insane mv... (referance to 1:36 ) also the green pulled his hand at that scene... I wonder why?... 👀💙💚💜

The Mito version has continuity with "RIBBON" and there we can see the same house that Ian is in but deteriorated because that is the true appearance, Christian said that Insanity kidnapped Ian in that place, that's why in RIBBON, Ian sees that house with colors, so this MV shows a part of when Ian left the house, he still has the wound and then inexplicably he is already cured. In his letters Ian reveals that a strange being that moves in the shadows has a white eye and offered him help.

Why am I just realizing that in Don’t Go Insane that the video is about Ian turning into Mr.Insanity? It’s why his hair was black for majority of the video and color in a few shots. It shows him accepting the change possibly unknowingly

In an interview I heard Ian say that each character has colors. Mito: red, black, white Mr.Insanity: Violet, green, yellow/gold (I can’t remember which exactly) Hybrid: blue, red, green So I think the blue eyes are connected to Hybrid more than anything. And yes, No BLUEberries is very direct about this: “Tell me what’s in your eyes baby, red, green, or blue?”

So are all this Mito and insanity just a play like characters he is playing as or is he actually mentally unstable?? If he is mentally unstable how is he even able to be a singer and perform when he can go crazy at any second...

It’s really rude and messed up to call someone with a mental disability “crazy”. He has bipolar disorder and Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID). His music and lore is inspired by his experiences with these two disorders. He works very hard and he’s not just going to “go crazy”. That’s not how these disorders work. Movies often demonize disorders but that’s not what they’re like and you shouldn’t assume that someone with either/both of these disorders is like some monster you’ve seen in movie theaters

1:28 this mv is the introduction of the "hybrid" a fusion of mr insanity and Ian. 1:32 is mr Insanity and 1:31 is Ian 1:33 back to the hybrid. 1:36 the green pulls the hybrid into "the other side" where he is attacked. Often in DID hybrids of individual personalities can manifest, and introductions of new alts into an already existing system isn't always the smoothest. Fights within the psyche can totally happen. To me 2:04 was MITO coming to front when the hybrid is threatened. Thats what I was getting from it at least.....I missed a few of his lives unfortunately to know for sure.
