In this video, I completely finish rebuilding the bottom end of this engine. I also add some really nice flares to the engine using cerakote and a couple of products from tusk. This engine came out amazing and has completely transformed from the ugly engine that it once was. Next, on this engine build series, I will be showing you guys how to rebuild your two-stroke top end and power valve. I also will install some pretty awesome aftermarket parts as well as guide you through checking your cylinder to piston clearance.

This rebuild has been spot on to watch and learn, just happens to be the exact engine I have so unbelievably helpful, only problem is you make me want to strip my engine right to the cast like this one and make it like new when in all fairness I don’t think I need to😂

just be glad on your engine there wasnt any striped bolts i was helping my friend restore his bike and atleat 1/2 of the bolts were striped and i had to drill through them

hi adam, i know this is an old video but was wondering if there was any dowel pins installed on the waterpump cover? I am not talking about item 17 on your diagram. I have a cr 125 1996 and on my diagram it does not show any dowel pins apart from the same item 17 although two holes look slightly bigger for dowel pins.

Hey dude, i'm currently rebuilding my 07 cr125. Ur build honestly helps me out so much man, you're great. Did you reuse all the bolts/screws/hardware or did your source brand new ones if so where can I get a full kit? Also, may I ask where you got the detailed diagrams? Thanks man :)

Can i ask what carburetor you will be using? Standard mikuni or upgrade to a keihin? I have a 03 cr 125 with the keihin, just bought the bike and the jetting is off. Would like to know your input on jetting

I’m using a lectron so won’t be doing as much jetting. But definitely will have some jetting videos coming up, just not for this bike!

Ive been using wiseco pistons (and I was told once you use them you cant use another) so will I have to waste the vertex piston that comes with the kit and get a seperate one?(on the full engine rebuild kit)

It’s cerakote, more of a ceramic coating then a general paint

Great video but that is now how the flywheel works I think you may need to study up on why a flywheel is used in any engine Coming from a master mechanic

I use plastic razor blades you can use metal. The reason I dont is because if you slip you risk damaging your sealing surface because the steel cuts into the alluminum
